RANGED FIRST BRACKET
Atop the arena stood a flickering silhouette of a man wearing a long coat. At his side was a katana sheathe and revolver, but one feature stood out - e emblem of the cobalt phoenix emblazoned on the chest of the overcoat.
It was him.
"Skill manifests itself in a contrast of fate between these two warriors," the figure's said with an amused smile. "Who will emerge victorious? Xander, the ex-FizzCo thrill-seeking rail-grinder? Or perhaps the prodigy of Genellian, the masterful mage Cassandra Black?. Hold steadfast, warriors. For true wit shall be your guide today, regardless of weapon."
Xander stands on the west side of the colosseum, and opposite of them stands Cassandra. The holographic projection filled with multiple symbols which change quickly like a slot machine pops up on the centre of the arena. The projection stops on a waterfall. The entire arena shifted and fell, raising both opponents high up on opposite sides of a cliff overlooking a lake. Trees dotted the land on either side of the river. In between the two warriors were many rocks, some towering high and some low, yet all of them stood by the raging rapids of the river flowing off the cliff.
Then, another slot projection takes the centre of the arena. Landing on an icon of a man clinging to a wall. The faces of the rocks flashed for a moment - both opponents would now be able to traverse the sides of rocks
The figure speaks.
"Begin!"

Xander looked around, then hollered "I'M NOT FIZZCO YOU -blam!-, COBALT WHAT THE -blam!- MAN?!?!?!?" He then grabbed Dirty Harry and looked around for his opponent

"Let's begin, shall we?" *Cassandra slams the end of her staff into the ground, a septagram burning into the surface of the cliff around her*
-
"Oh quit the edgy mage shit!" He bounded towards her, drawing his Dirty Harry and firing the massive revolver at her, bouncing off the tops of trees

*She steps aside and lets the bullets fly by her. The septagram begins to glow as magic is pulled in from around her.*

He switches to his TNTeddy, firing AOE teddy bear bombs at it to make you stay away from it
-
*A flick of her wand sends the explosive teddy bears back at Xander*
-
He just avoids them, they moved at a slower pace because of their odd center of gravity He was pretty close to you now, switching to his flaming compensator to spray you with incendiary buckshot as he bounced off the tops of trees around you

*A wandless protego blocks the rounds, the septagram now glowing brightly* "My turn."
-
"nope, nope, nope, nope, nope!" He air dashed away in the opposite direction, firing his Hair-spray bomb launcher at you, missing but with so many cluster bombs it covered a wide area between him and you

*The pentagram shines bright as Black speaks* "[i]Rushing Winds of the Thousand Sons!![/i]" *A great wind sweeps up, picking up rocks as it goes. It rushes at Xander within a few moments*

he decides it was best simply to use his agility to survive the whirlwind, literally rushing up and down the rocks, he was fine as he'd done crazier than this before
-
*The wind gusts in the middle of one of Xander's jumps, carrying him high into the air. Black shoves her staff forwards at him* "[i]Diffindo Duos[/i]" *A pair of dangerous-looking white lines travel swiftly at Xander's chest*

He uses and air dash to break free of the whirlwind, one of the lines instead cutting at his right arm as he broke free.....right above you, firing the flaming compensator with its wide spread as he passed over you to bounce on the top of another tree

*A swirl of her heels and she vanishes with a crack, appearing a few feet away.* "[i]Forzarre.[/i]" *A blast wave barrels its way towards Xander*

"OKAY, -blam!- YOU, AND -blam!- YOUR MAGIC" he air dashes to the side again, firing off three turret copters with one hand and firing Dirty Harry with the other, soon creating a barrage of bullets at you

[spoiler]Yellow card for avoiding a SHIT ton. I mean it's cool. But throw him a bone. [/spoiler]

"Weak. [i]Agis[/i]." *A golden shield encases her, blocking the projectiles. She slams her staff again and the wind dies down, the septagram glowing still*

[spoiler]Gunna have to yellow card both of you actually... Take some hits next time! Damn! [/spoiler]

"-blam!- YOU" He'd grabbed his charge beam, and fired it at the shield, the beam of azure blue energy hitting with the force of a few tons of TNT, causing your sheild to start to give way

"The Agis shield was developed by ancient sorcerers. When preformed by a master, it is capable to withstand the destruction of a planet's surface. Surviving an orbital strike with an Agis is one of the tests one must undertake to become a Battle-Mage." *The shield flares, then vanishes along with Black* "But that is not our true strength." *Twin blasts of concentrated air, dust, and rocks are sent at Xander from his left and right*

He pulls out the legendary sword, EXCALAMUNE!!! He swings it at you, blasting aside the elements with fire, energy, and lightning "-blam!- THAT"

*She knocks aside the power with a flick of her wand, her eyes aglow* "Pulling mythical relics from nowhere now? Desperate. [i]Diffindo Multos[/i]" *Seven white lines speed towards Xander, Black's wand dancing through the air*

"USING OP SHIT TO FIGHT ME? HMM, COMPENSATING MUCH?" He simply dashes over, his damage amp kicking in, blocking them all, and he fires literally every single gun he has at his disposal at you at once, creating a hailstorm of death and destruction, the Overcharge dripping off of the area around his attack making OD appear constantly, swarming you with many of the mutants, and even giant Herkers and Wingers
