Cannon glances nervously over the edge at the water before raising his blaster rifle to his shoulder.
"Let's get this over with."
He starts it off with a burst of ionized plasma, aimed at Mortar's head from across the ship.

*Through the flames, a being reforms from the remnants. It looks like Mortar, but doesn't. He is much larger, much stronger. There is a massive cannon on his back, being held by three limbs. the cannon aims right AT cannon and fires, sending an energy ball right at him*

*Mortar's head surfaces briefly, watching him as he does this* Dammit. *he swims to Cannon's ship, touching it and dissolving through it to the deck, and forms more iron balls to fling at him*
