Remorse
A man walks along the path towards the fortress of a city known as the Dojo. It was very unfamiliar to him. He had known this path by heart once, but that was long ago. Things had changed. Besides, wasn't his path to remember anymore. He lost that right when he left.
The man continued to walk. Should he have told them before leaving? What should he have said? His heart grew heavy with that thought, yet he kept walking. He couldn't put it off any longer. Whatever was about to happen next was inevitable, no matter how long he waited. And so he kept walking.
As he pressed on, he drew his thoughts to something else. The changes that had been made. The sheer size of the once small little base. It had become even more immense than it was at its prime; it was prospering. They'd revised everything, and from what the man had seen over his time observing, it was for the better.
He was nearing the gates. He did not know what he would do when he reached them, but he knew he had to. It would be awkward, that was a given, but he tried not to think about it. Instead, he began to think of the good times...
The chaos that ensued whenever a tournament was attempted (and the few, actual successful ones when he stopped organizing them)..
The fights..
The many friends he'd made... new and old.
The parties that.... he actually couldn't remember very well.. something about tables?
Thinking about that reassured the man. He was confident that he needed to see this place once more. The Dojo was no longer his, and will not be for the rest of its existence, but he could not completely abandon this place. Plus, he'd already written this much.. no going back now.
He had reached the gate, and walked in to the village.

Ninja raises his hand as if to say something, but decides not to comment "... interesting.. well, er... the new place is nice."
-
Tubbs- Too many courtyards. Other than that it's ok I guess.
-
"I see... Well, don't let me stop you from doing... Stares at the groups "weapons" .. whatever it was you were doing..."
-
Tubbs- Didn't plan on it. See ya around Ninja.
-
Well well, Ninja. Seems you finally decided to come back. *The man he once knew as Mortar walks up next to him from behind, keeping up with his pace. His tone is hard to tell, some of it seemingly friendly, some of it inquisitive and possibly slightly hostile. He has no weapons on him save for a plasma sniper given to him by an old friend. He looks at Ninja with his blazing crimson eyes, as if saying "We missed you"*
-
"It would've been wrong to just to leave everyone, and this place behind. It was my home.. I take it a lot happened?"
-
Sorta. I don't remember if you were here or not when I died, so it wouldn't be as surprising that I were here if I hadn't. *He chuckles under his breath slightly* Well it's good to have you back Ninja.
-
"Well shit! Look what the edge lords brought in!" The familiar white haired man leaned up against the door to the tall two story inn behind him. He crossed his arms, his knee brought up so the flat of his foot met the wall. He grinned, his blue eyes staring at the old leader. The massive blade he was known for using however was still on his back, over a fresh new white leather trench coat that looks as if it was just bought.
-
"Well if it isn't the big guy himself!" *He stares up at the deity* "I like what you've done with the place."
-
"Kidding me? I didn't do jack SHIT! I was busy saving the world when they did..." He waves his hand at the massive dojo on the hill. "This!"

Edited by DigitalNinja: 11/16/2016 12:35:54 AMThat's even more impressive.. you've managed to gather a lot of people to do something like this so quickly... Ninja trails off, staring at the main building
-
"For the tournament? Ya well all you gotta do is throw this fuckers a bone and they'll go running after it! Probably killing Eachother in the process!"
Deity ain't a sensei.
-
"Honestly, you may actually have a point there.."
Shit, I must've misread the list..
-
Well I am pants. But the deity character isn't a sensei.
"I always do! So, where the hell did you go? Some GRAND adventure involving mermaid prostitutes? Or am I projecting a bit?"
-
Ninja suddenly grows sullen, and sighs deeply, speaking in a tone equal parts apologetic, and ominous "I just left. Nowhere in particular.. something didn't feel right, and I needed time away from the Dojo.. I should've said something, but I just.. well, left.. I can't really explain."
-
"Uh huh. Sounds more like a pretty shit cop out to me! One minute we went through some crazy ass teleporter, and bam! You were gone! Then we all ended back at the dojo!"
-
Ninja grows quiet once more "It's.. really not something I can just explain.." The tone of his voice and strained expression implies that he is intentionally avoiding the subject.
This gives me an idea for something...

Another quest you'll quit mid way?!?!

SU EXCITED

jk, don't hurt me.
The deity took the hint. Pushing off the wall as he walked closer to the old master of the dojo. He kept his arms crossed however, staring up at the dojo. "Whelp! Someone may as well show you around this place! I guess I'll get to it then!"
-
Probably just a very small plot, I don't trust myself with planning quests anymore lol.
".. Sounds good! I'd like to see what's been built since I've been here last."
-
"Alright. Well to start, the village has gotten like eight times bigger! We need unnecessary casualties after all! You know, 80's action style." The white haired-now-tourist guide walked up the roads of the village. Having Ninja follow him. "The inns seem to have increased in popularity and quantity. Most being two floors. Except for that one...." He points to the 30 story golden building with the massive name "trump" on the roof. "Ya. He kinda took sleeping to the next level."
-
Stares at the "Trump" tower *sigh*.... "he isn't deporting anyone, is he?"
-
"Hopefully! Screw those illegals! Anyways, back to the tour!" Sounds of protest coming from trump tower echo and fade as the two walk up the street. Eventually arriving at a large round about, at the from is a narrow stone paved staircase which twists and turns up the mountain towards the dojo complex. "So APPARENTLY people didn't want anyone to drive to the dojo! So we got this staircase to make our way up."
-
"It wouldn't really be a Dojo without a soul-crushingly large set of stairs.." Ninja sighs and begins ascending up it
-
"No shit! I bet most people quit before they make It up the steps l!" As the two walked up, and as the deity spoke, ninja spotted a dried up skeleton on the side of the steps, covered in a thin layer of snow. Only proving the deity's point....
-
"Sheesh.. Death by stairs.. not the best way to go.." Ninja inspects the body for a moment, then continues the trek
