Grinding is hard. Especially if you don't know some real good grinds, which is why I will share with you the greatest grinds for the general guardian.
Glimmer & spinmetal
This one is hard to explain... This is known as the rocket yard loop. The Rocket yard is broken up into 3 sections, and are connected by wide tunnels and passages. Once you get to the Rocket Yard go past the first section and completely ignore it for the rest of the loop. In the second area in the upper right corner there's usually a chest. (If not just pretend I didn't type that) from there you'll want to stick to, and follow the wall (and I mean stick to the wall) going into each little side room and checking all the little crevices until sated in your hunger for money and resources.
Glimmer & kills
You will need Glimmer obtaining items for this, specifically resupply codes and black wax idols
The opening missions for the moon and Mars (dark beyond and exclusion zone) have little sections where enemys come through a door at you, to progress you have to kill all enemies (exclusion zone) or kill a specific enemy (the knight at the gate in dark beyond). Kill all other enemies and then allow the last/knight enemy to kill you. This will set you back to the beginning of the section/part where you rinse and repeat.
Glimmer & kills
You will also need glimmer obtaining items for this one, but this time you need ether seeds
On Venus patrol go to the shattered coast. Once there travel to the building at the far end (the one where you scan for vex) in there is some fallen. Kill these for some glimmer. After that go out the door to the right of the one you likely came in (it's the one that faces towards the horizon) there's a small ledge you jump on top of. Get up there then jump again. The way you should jump is outward, as to avoid hitting the ledge, then inward, this makes it so that more fallen spawn in that little room. I suggest using focused control on warlocks, triple jump on hunters, and the movement one on titans.
These 4 grinding spots got me through most of year 1 and 2, and hopefully they help (or I'm not beating a dead horse and you've heard of this). Comment some of your fave grind spots and grow this thread.
