*Sketch stands up, looking confused.*
"Ninja? Do you really not recognize me?!"

[b]Ninja pauses, recognizing you're voice, then adjusts his hood[/b] "..... Oh! Sketch!" [b]Sheathes sword[/b] "Sorry.. most people who greeted me like that back at the o--.... where I was.... usually weren't trying to be friendly..."

*Wraps his arms around Ninja in another hug.* "Well, I'm glad you're here now Ninja! Where have you been!?"

"That's... a long story.. Its just good to be here again.. I take it a lot happened?" [spoiler]I haven't come up with an in-story reason just yet..[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Okay.[/spoiler] "Yeah! I'm a lieutenant now! And I have kids! A lot more than just that has happened though."

"Congrats! .. uh, for both, I mean! Though I'm curious.. how did you become a father in less than 4 months?"

[spoiler]We did a sort of time skip. It's confusing because two years have gone by, but Sketch is still fifteen.[/spoiler] "Four months? Ninja, you've been gone like two years and three months!" [spoiler]Just don't question it.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]alright[/spoiler] "Two years? Something isn't right.. I only remember being gone for a few months.. unless the portal.." [b]Ninja trails off, thinking about the situation he had just realized he was in.[/b]

"What? What portal?

"Huh? Oh, uh, nevermind... so back to what we were talking about.. How's everyone been?" [b]Ninja's inflection is oddly suspicious, seemingly deliberately dogging the question[/b]

*He seems suspicious but decides to continue.* "Well... Some people have left... And we have some new people too... My brother for example, you haven't met Vorim'Tairn have you?"

"I don't believe I have. Care to introduce me?"

"Sure, he's somewhere around here... Follow me." *He motions for Ninja to follow as he turns around and starts walking.*

[b]Ninja begins following him[/b]

*He makes his way to the apartment complex, turning left at the first hallway and then stopping at the second door on the right.*

[b]Ninja stares at the apartment complex[/b] "Strange.. I am not used to seeing this many people living on this mountain... is this the place?"

"Oh, come on. The apartments were here when you were!" *He knocks on the door and a different but very similar voice to Sketch's can be heard.* [u][b]O-One second![/b][/u]

"You sure?" [b]Ninja pauses for a moment, then chuckles lightly[/b] "Either something changed reality, or I have a really terrible memory..."

"It's probably the memory?" *Just then, the door opens revealing a cat/wolf creature with a very similar physical appearance to Sketch. He was only about two inches taller and had brown eyes. Instead of having slate and blue fur with lime green hand and foot pads, he had light grey fur with darker grey spots, as well as black hand and foot pads. He notices Ninja and suddenly looks down after making eye contact, crossing his arms. He basically looks everywhere except where Ninja is, as if his gaze and Ninja were two magnets with the wrong poles facing each other.* [u][b]Hi S-Sketch... Who's this?[/b][/u]

[b]Ninja steps forward[/b] "Hi. I'm.. well, people call me Ninja. I'm a friend of your brother's, so I figured I should introduce myself to you. I was in charge of this place originally, but I've been gone for a while." [b]Ninja holds out his arm for a handshake[/b]
