"Drug called KAP-8. I'm a Psion so I have to take it regularly. I'm running low on it. Trying to find a dealer."
-
"Sounds like a serious liability, especially for combat situations and the such. What happens if you run out?" The clone asks, his voice full of curiosity.
-
"I get ridiculous migraines and muscle aches, and then I die two weeks later, why?"
-
"Just curious. Seems idiotic someone wpuld make something with side effects that severe. The risk sounds like it outweighs the gain." Replies the Mandalorian.
-
"It's just how I was born. My parents were both Psions, so were their parents, and theirs, and so on and so forth. It's genetic."
-
"Interesting. Seems like an odd genetic trait. Are there other psions in the Dojo?"
-
"Nope. It's just me. There are a few other people from Cedyetica here, though. JT and Lance."
-
"I've met JT. He's... An interesting character."
-
"Yes. Quite. He's a really good guy, though. My best friend. I actually joined his military. Then left. He's an awesome guy."
-
"Interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on him. So, what brought you to the dojo, if you don't mind me asking."
-
"I came here looking for a cowboy and a time-traveller. I found both. I'm talking about JT and Lance."
-
"There's time travel now? Great... That allways leads to migrains." He groans sarcastically.
-
"He can't rewind time very far. I think he can do it five minutes max. It's pretty simple, really."
-
"Five minutes huh? Sounds like a pain to deal with. Especially in an arena."
-
"Oh, it totally is. It's totally ridiculous, too. It doesn't really make sense. Oh well. Any other questions?"
-
"Why'd you come alk the way out here looking for them? Must be close friends to do something like that."
-
"Well, JT's like a brother to me. And I really just wanted to catch up with Lance. Hadn't talked to him since we broke up a couple years ago."
-
"Ah. Must be nice having friends as close as that." He sighed.
-
"Why? Do you not have any friends or something?"
-
"I did, long time ago. Three brothers, all clones like me. We were as close as they got, back in training. Those were the good old days..." He says, his voice distant like one recalling an old memory.
-
"Hey, if ya need a friend, I'm always up for making some new friends. Been a long time since I've met anyone new."
-
He laughs. "Sure. Name's Cannon, by the way. Cannon Lok. I didn't catch your name, miss..."
-
"Keri. Just Keri. Left my last name behind. I'd rather forget it. Reminds me of my mom and dad. Pieces of trash is what they were."
-
"Well, it's been nice chatting with you, Kerri. Good to have a friend around. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to get back to work. See you around?" He stands, pulling his helmet back on and stretching.
-
She waves. "Yeah. See you around, buddy."
