Cannon continues to squirm, the branch shaking, but still holding.

Pan slowly places her lips on Cannon's and kisses him. She quickly ends the embrace and with a flick of the wrist Cannon falls.
-
Cannon hits the ground with a crash head first. "Ow..." He roles onto his back and sits up, mildly dazed. "What in te Manda just happned?"
-
Pan giggles and extends a hand to help Cannon up. "You're funny."
-
Cannon takes her hand and rises. "Er, thanks?" He bends and retrieves his helmet, pulling it on to hide his redening face. "So, what would you like to do now?" He asks, his voice sounding slightly synthetic through the speakers.
-
Pan yawns and shrugs. "I think I'll retire to the good o'tree."
-
"Suite yourself, ma'am. I'll stick around for a bit, make sure my helmet wasn't damaged in the fall and such." His helmet was obviously not damaged, but he needed an excuse to stick around and keep an eye on her for Artemis.
-
Pan rolls her eyes as she starts to climb up the tree. "Call me Pan! Ma'am makes me feel old."
-
"Well, you ARE older than me. And you're the leader." He calls back jokingly, removing his helmet to recalibrate.
-
A book, that's clearly a high level astrophysics textbook, hits Cannon on the head. Pan was all the way up in the tree. "Oops! Sorry, I dropped something."
-
"Ow! No helmet, remember?" He calls up. "And this is why I don't usually take it off..." He adds as he begins to disassemble his blaster rifle.
-
Pan goes silent for a couple of minutes before some quiet singing can be heard. "~You're alone, you're on your own, so what? Have you gone blind? Have you forgotten what you have and what is yours? Glass half empty, glass half full Well either way you won't be going thirsty Count your blessings not your flaws~"
-
Cannon stops with the blaster half assembled and listens. A small smile forming on his features.
-
Pan continues to sing, instrumental sounds start to come from the tree. ((Song)) "~You've got it all You lost your mind in the sound There's so much more You can reclaim your crown You're in control Rid of the monsters inside your head Put all your faults to bed You can be king again~"
-
Cannon listens to her, entranced by her voice, and slowly sways to the tune.
-
When the song finishes she goes silent for a while again. A quiet sobbing could be heard from Pan.
-
Cannon frowns, glancing up at her. "Pan? You ok up there?" He asks worriedly.
-
Pan's voice is quiet and strained. "I'm fine." She continues to cry.
-
Cannon proceeds to climb into the tree and check on her, stopping one branch down from her. "Yeah, you're definantly not ok. What's wrong Pan'ika?" He asked.
suffix ika, Mando'a, meaning little, used as a form of affection.
-
Pan has her head between her legs and doesn't look at Cannon. "I'm okay, really. Thanks for caring, but nothing is wrong." She sniffles due to her cry.
-
Cannon puts a hand on her arm. "You sure?"
-
Pan nods. "I just want to be alone right now. You can leave if you want."
-
Cannon sighs and climbs down the tree, stopping at the bottom and sitting with his back against it.
-
Pan looks down at Cannon. "I said you can leave if you want. I don't know why you'd stay here."
-
"I can leave if you want. Don't specifically have anywhere to be at the moment." He stands up and moves to collect his weapons from the ground and begins to reassemble them.
-
Pan sighs as she vanishes. She reappears behind Cannon and hugs him. "I didn't mean it like that."
