Keri walks towards the Simulation Room, usual get-up. Brown duster, white shirt under it, middlemost button done. Black leggings, brown tennis shoes. Green earrings, strange, because it didn't match her outfit at all. Almost like they weren't supposed to go with the outfit, possibly a different one. She had short, black hair, right around at her ears. Besides her getup, another thing stood out. Her eyes. They were a light, milky brown. She was blind. Strangely, she could navigate perfectly fine. Right over to the room, opening the door, then programming the Sim Room to a location. Familiar to a small select few, unknown by most.
She gazed up at the simulated sky, breathing in the air. It was home. Well, the place she came from, not her actual home. Neon lights, skyscrapers, drug dealers on street corners. She smiled. Just like she'd remembered. Of course, she didn't program the whole city to be simulated, just this street and a few alleyways. She walked off the road, over to one of the alleyways, pulling a revolver from her duster, right hand reaching over to her waist. She walked into the alleyway, looking down it. There was two men. She'd loaded the program that had two thugs in this specific alleyway, so she already knew that it was merely a few street toughs, good target practice. Despite being blind, she took aim, nailing one right in the back of the neck, falling down. She knew the second only had a knife, she'd programmed this part of the sim herself, so she holsters her revolver, and pulls a sword from the other side of the duster, a rapier. Only reason she wasn't sparring with a real person was because she only trained with her wooden rapier, a luxury nobody else in the Dojo would bother with. She quickly ran up to the second man, and stabbed him in the right arm, a quick, fast strike. He took a swing. She swung upwards, knocking the knife away. The man got angry. He ran at her, and was met with a blade. Through the chest. She wiped the blood from the blade with the man's shirt, and headed back out to the exit. The one flaw was... She'd left the door open. Anyone could've seen in. She walked out, shutting the door, then looked around for anyone that had seen in, or just someone to talk to.

The deity immediately lowered his eyebrow. More concerned, but also excited. "Holy SHIT. You are totally DAREDEVIL."
-
"Funny, that's what a guy named Tubbs said... Well, yes, I am! In a matter of speaking. Same skill set, but unlike him I cannot take bullets to the chest. Or anywhere."
-
"Well that's just a matter of armour DD! Heh. But I do like the way you took out these guys.... Say, are you looking for work by chance?"
-
"Depends on the work. Long as the pay's good and I'm not killing innocents, sounds good to me."
-
"No absolutely! Complete opposite of harming people! Unless they seek to harm others.... I'm building let's say...a community. This community will go out into this brave and dangerous world, and help people out! Also to get some resources and cash on the side. Can't exactly pay you yet though....but I'm sure there's a hell of a lot of people who will once I get you set in the right direction."
-
"Alright. What do you want me to do?"
-
"Well, nothing at the moment really! I'm just sort of.... What's the word... Recruiting you! Ya! So once this Tournament is all well and done and I have a fatter wallet from it, we can get to work!"
-
"Sounds like a plan, Deity. So, what do we do in the meantime? I mean, I've got literally nothing to do at all."
-
"Yaaaaa...and I'm actually TOO busy right now! I'm on break between fights and when I'm on break I'm talking to a SHIT ton of other people to get them on my team here!"
-
"Oh alright. Well... What do you suppose I do, then? Not like I can do really anything. Nobody ever listens to the blind girl."
-
".....okay so you want to fight right? Like...like that's what you are going for here? I'm not getting any mixed signals am I? Last time that happened I ended up In an actual relationship."
-
"Nah, I don't actually fight unless I have to. I don't fight to practice with my weapons. I fight to kill. Self defense or people who deserve it."
-
"Wellllll shit. Guess I'm just gunna... Head out now...." The deity walked towards the door, before turning. "Oh! Forgot to mention! Your workplace is totally in the middle of the Ko-Rudo mountains! See you then!" He walks out the door, after the odd exchange.

Chuckling came from... All around Keri, strangely enough, like a figure had hacked into the system and spoken through an intercom in the sky, though it was just the voice of the Cowboy. "Amazing, ain't she? Cedyetica, the City of Lights."
-
"As amazing as always. Miss the place. I actually have an exact copy of the entire city saved. Not just this small section. Takes a long time to load, but it's worth it."
-
"I've got one for Cylak, Trynt, Tedhyx, Cedyetica and the Whalehawk. I spend literally all my free time mingling with the A.I, making friends and shit. It's depressing really, but I miss it."
-
"Really? Got a lot of spare time on your hands, huh? How 'bout you just come down here? Rather talk to you face to face, if you don't mind."
-
"Alright," said the Cowboy, before he started to digitally construct himself next to Keri.
-
Keri turned to him, wide smile. She was happy they'd get to talk again, she didn't talk to many people. "Good to see you, JT." Keri giggles at her own terrible pun.
-
"Aye, you as well Keri. So of all cities, why Cedyetica?"
-
"JT, it was where I was born and raised. Nostalgia, I guess. Good memories in this place."
-
"Yeah, Cedyetica always one for bringing back memories."
-
"I miss the place, you know? Miss seeing you guys every day. Theron, you, Lance, Athena... Sure was fun back then, huh? Heh. Wish I was a Tempest, unlimited Minutes, just turn the clock back to when we were all back there."
-
"Lance became a shithead, Theron I haven't seen in years, Athena... Who was that again?"
-
"Athena was that girl that lived in Lance's skyscraper. She was nice. And Lance is a jerk now? Really? Never would've pictured it from him. He was always just so nice..."
