Pan vanishes and reappears on Cannon's back. She wraps her legs around his neck and flips him to the ground.
"Wee!"
English
-
"Whoa!" Cannon topples over, pulling Pan down as he goes and on his back with her on top.
-
Pan sits on top of Cannon's chest and giggles. "This is fun!"
-
"Ow..." The Mandalorian mutters, rubbing the back of his head. "Why is it every time I take off that helmet around you, I get hit in the head?"
-
Pan knocks on the helmet on her head. "Maybe you should wear this more often."
-
"You're right. And I'd probably look a lot nicer that way too." He laughs.
-
Pan shakes her head and taps the helmet on her head. "No, your face is handsome! I'm the one who should keep a helmet on."
-
Cannon looks surprised. "Why? You're... You're beautiful!" He blushes furiously as he stutters. "W-why would you cover your face? Besides for protection in combat that is?"
-
Pan turns her head away from Cannon. "I-It was...."
-
"Pan'ika," he asks cautiously, "what's wrong?"
-
Pan took off her helmet. Everything about her face seemed fine, but she wasn't opening her eyes.
-
"Cyar'ika, look at me please." Cannon urges worriedly as he slowly sits up, gently brushing his thumb across her cheek.
-
Pan starts to cry and shakes her head. "You shouldn't see me like this..." Reluctantly she opens her eyes. Her eyes are dark red with small black marks randomly placed.
-
"What happend?" Cannon asks, his voice filled with worry as he looks at her eyes. His voice no less caring as he continues to gently stroke her cheek with his thumb.
-
Pan suddenly jerks her head away and shuts her eyes. "M-My freind was going to die....Chaos isn't meant for healing, but I tried anyway. He's fine and lived, but...me? The chaos has almost fully consumed me now.... I can see fear, sorrow, guilt, and anger like they're physical things. I hear constant voices whispering into my ear and I don't know what they're saying."
-
Cannon was speechless. His mouth went dry. Not knowing what to say he simply pulled her into a hug, hoping that would at least comfort her slightly. "You're not dead yet," he finally forced out, "and it'll be a cold day in haran when I let you go without a fight. I swear if there's a way to make it out alive, we will find it." He planted a small kiss on her forehead.
-
Pan hugs back like her life depends on it and cries into your shoulder. "Make them stop!"
-
Cannon dosent know what to do so he just holds her, gently stroking her hair.
-
Pan sobs for what feels like hours before finally stopping.
-
Cannon barely keeps himself from crying as well, forcing those emotions down. "You're not alone, Pan. Remember that. I've seen them too. You'll be alright." He continues to hold her.
-
Pan sniffles a little before speaking with a quiet and hoarse voice. "Cannon, please don't leave me. Don't leave me when I'm so close to death. I don't want to die alone."
-
"You aren't going to die. I've lost enough people as it is. I'm not losing you too. We will find a way to save you. I swear it on my honour as one of the Mando'ade." He lets out a shakey breath, his hands shaking.
-
Pan shakes her head. "You shouldn't make promises you can't keep."
-
"I don't."
-
Pan weakly hits you on the chest. "You don't understand! We should spend the little time we have enjoying eachother. We shouldn't look around for something that will save me because it doesn't exist."
-
Cannon dosent respond, slowly standing and lifting her up. "End simulation." The simulation room dissolves away and Cannon makes his way over to where the real Pan is. A small smile forming on his face as he hugs her.
