After the show, one of the cast directly addressed the soon to be VP.
We, sir, are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights," Dixon said. "We truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us. All of us."
Trump went to Twitter to demand an apology for the "harassment" and said the theatre should be a "safe and special place".
Safe spaces are the new hotness! Mean or critical remarks are now out!
President Trump
"Make America nice again"
The irony is unbelievable.

First, I don't think Trump has previously said anything about the topic of, "safe spaces". That's something that anti-SJW types publicly reject, but I don't think Trump was on board or even aware of that. Second, I have no problem with the actors standing on stage and talking to the VP. If it's their only opportunity to do so, go for it. I think what they were saying was a little baffling, I'm not under the impression that Mike Pence actually hates these people or would really do anything to harm them in any way. But that's what people tell me he's going to do, but color me skeptical. Third, people getting mad on his behalf are ridiculous. Pence made a public statement about how he's completely fine with what happened. I personally feel the audience members booing at him and his kids is really shitty, but they are free to be assholes the same as me.
