You sounded rude honestly. They asked and said please and you rudely replied rather than saying something like "Sorry man, im on a streak, rather not." or something.
I mean granted they could've just said ok and left but you were rude. So i dont see what higher ground you have over then

Where in his messages did he sound rude? I really want to know. None of it sounded rude until they admitted they were going to stop him from running the strike. Or are we all that easily triggered that a simple response of "I'm solo running, not joining the party" upsets us now? I seriously just want to know where you thought he was rude...

Seriously? He was halfway done his strike.... You sound like they guy that would watch a kid made to trade to the shitty team at dodgeball, because these other two guys want to play together on a team. AND still blame the solo kid because he is mad he is changing.... It was rude to ask the guy that was there to leave... rude begets rude... the Op had every right to tell them to frack off Now go troll somewhere else

They decided what they were going to do took priority over what he was doing when he ran almost the entire strike by himself. Then they feel entitled to boot him so their friend can join the farm? I'm sorry but if I put the work in I don't want to be taken advantage after.

"They asked him nicely to leave." Adding please doesn't make the request polite. They joined half way through an activity and decided to ask the person who was already there to leave the activity. There is nothing polite about that. "He replied rudely." How so? He stated what his intentions were and what he was doing prior to them joining him. "If he was kind in how he replied they most likely wouldve not been assholes." If his answer was anything other than what they wanted to hear they were going to be assholes. They attempted to get him to join their fireteam so they could kick him from the activity. The only reason why the back and forth took place was because they (The 2 spoiled brats who joined halfway through) couldn't force the original poster to leave the game.

tell me honestly. would you leave after doing half a strike and some bunch of randoms tell you to leave after completing half the strike alone? he might also have a key he wants to use to get an imago loop or the gauntlets (but who cares about the gauntlets) but didnt want to break his streak by just leaving and selecting the strike. im with op on this one

Then to sit their the entire time..not allowing others who actually want to play, play. They instead never res and just get carried. Aka asswipes. Regardless if someone t bags me in crucible after getting an easy ass shotgun kill. I just laugh and waves off
