A strange mechanical being walked to the dojo gate. He looked sort of like Fortis, but he didn't have any wings. He also had broader shoulders. He carried a huge machine gun and two rocket launchers rose out of his shoulders. Behind him trailed a huge army of Mechonus troops, and a few cruisers.
"Open the gates!" The figure yells, shooting his gun up in the air.
Open, introducing a new character.
"Oi! Calm down!" The man peaked over the wall, in NCR Ranger armor
-
The one holding the machine gun, who seemed to be the leader, stopped firing. "Could you open the gate? We need to reach Fortis ASAP."
-
"WELL YOU DON'T HAVE TO BLOODY SHOOT!"
-
"How else would I get your attention in a non violent manner?" The troops seem to grow restless of waiting.
-
"Yeah whatever!" The gates creak open "Come on in"
-
The troops storm off towards Fortis's ship. The sound of breaking glass and screaming can be heard where they go.
-
"HEY PLAY NICE JACKASSES." Guards flood into the courtyard, watching over the mech's
-
By the time they reach Fortis's ship, the soldiers have broken into eight houses because they 'had suspicious readings coming from them'. The ships that followed the army land next to Fortis's.
-
The dojo guards, greatly outnumbered the mech's by this point, watching their every single MOVE
-
The number of houses occupied by the soldiers is down to two, as the other six seemed safe. Meanwhile, the commander reaches Fortis. "Audax? Is that you?" Fortis says in a surprised tone. "Indeed it is. Took me fifty years to find you after the collapse. Have any of the other commanders showed up yet, or am I the first one?" Audax says. "It seems that you are the only one so far. Welcome to the dojo! Next time, try not to break everything."
-
Guards usher mechs out of the remaining two houses.
-
The soldiers leave one house, but they still occupy the other one. They claim that there is a bomb inside.
-
"Oi! Fortis get these damn mechs out of here or something. Please."
-
Fortis sighs and flies over to the house. A few moments later, there is the sound of gun fire, and a spray of lasers fly out the window and through the walls of the house.
-
"WHAT THE HELL?!" A dozen guards enter, weapons raised.
-
The guards see the soldiers and Fortis hiding behind a stucco wall. There is an open doorway on either side of the wall, and occasionally a soldier or two will shoot through, hopping they get a lucky shot. Meanwhile, Fortis smashes through the wall and starts firing on the people on the other side. A few get hit and are vaporized, but the others dive behind furniture and fire at Fortis. All this time, a large metal device on the wall counts down.
-
"WHAT THE SHIT?!"
....
-
Fortis grabs the device off the wall and flies back towards his ship. The soldiers try and subdue the remaining force inside the house. "Could you give use a hand?" The soldiers ask the guards.
-
The guards scatter throughout the house hold, firing their weapons at the enemy
-
With the soldiers and guards combined efforts, they eventually purge the house of any hostiles. The house stand sin ruins as the soldiers silently search amongst the dead for something. Meanwhile, Fortis frantically pulls wires on the bomb and tries to stop it from exploding.
-
"Oi! Give it here!" Watcher takes the bomb, and places it in the corner. A shadow is cast over it. And it disappears
-
"Where did it go?" Asks Fortis. The soldiers arrive back at Fortis's flagship, and some of them are carrying small metallic items. "They were planning to blow up this entire half of the dojo, sir." One of the soldiers says. "Commands, sir?" "See if any more insurgents are in the village, and report back to me ASAP."
-
"It went to the shadow realm. I'm sure you've met Royal."
-
"Yes, I have. Is there anything of value in the shadow realm? If so, you might find it... a bit singed."
-
"I wouldn't imagine so. It's bare."
