From what I saw the two joined in on a solo player, for them to try and kick the op from the game and F*ck up their progress over "waiting on a friend" is b.s. imo. The two can just wait outside the strike playlist if they're just going to sit there and do nothing anyways

Why for the sake of humanity? Are you implying that not conceding help to a reasonable request is the way everyone should conduct themselves? Just for the record I don't farm any bosses or strikes I tend to avoid them. I prefer to help a team with the Raid if I'm at a loose end.

Perhaps he should have said "for the sake of the FUTURE of humanity". It doesn't bode well if people are becoming so self centered and entitled that they don't even consider the wishes of the principal. They joined him. If they want to run strikes in a nontraditional manner, they should make sure to do it in a way that doesn't effect someone else's game. If these guys are old enough to drive I can only imagine the trail of curses they leave in their wake.

No satire. It's a community game. I try help people when I can. I know others couldn't give a damn. I try to look at it like this. 2 people try to get a specific strike and spend a long time getting the correct one. Who puts themselves out the most? The 2 who have research for good knows how long or the guy that can back out and just research. The only thing I would expect us that they make their request add soon as possible; not 20 mins into the strike.

They are asking someone to give up the time they have put into the strike for their own means. He even said that the guys that were asking him to leave had a team. They could have waited for the trials team to finish then go and farm keys rather than ask a random to leave. That is quite rude to do. Ask somebody to leave mid strike and give up any potential rewards and the xp from the strike.

Why? I'm assuming this farming only works on particular strikes. With this in mind they ask a completely reasonable and polite question. OP responds unreasonably. Don't expect some to be reasonable with you when you're unreasonable with them.

It may have been a reasonable request (highly arguable), but why should he acquiesce to a request from 2 strangers? He was in the middle of doing something and has absolutely no obligation to them at all.

You can select any strike from the directory so it's not hard to find one.

True but isn't the key drop rate higher in the siva strike list? Or maybe they needed the modifiers for the 'glitch' to work.

Regardless, if you want to farm with a team of three then you go into the playlist with a team of three. You can't expect that every person is going to want to take the time out of their enjoyment because you were ill prepared. If it's so important then wait or ask nicely to farm. I've farmed a place with a random after offering them a spot on our team, but because I'm not an entitled ninny did not expect a yes or no, nor did I expect him to leave if he said no.

I'm always willing to help. Even if that help means leaving. Just the way I am I guess. People seem to turn situations like this into a battle of wills. It's stupid and childish. It's a simple case of ghost out, go to orbit then research.

It's inconsiderate considering not everyone has an hour or more to dedicate to strikes. If someone has 30 minutes for gaming and someone else who will be on all night with enough time to farm for hours can't take their half of a fireteam to orbit then I can see who is inconsiderate. If you want to farm with 3, take 3 in, plain and simple.

Your argument seems a bit twisted yet somewhat understandable. If it was the beginning of the strike sure but as the OP said, they waited until the boss fight to spam him with invites and ask him to leave and then tell him to leave and then refuse to help him finish the strike, all so they could farm the strike with a friend of theirs that they could have easily waited for. Again, your argument makes sense if they asked at the beginning, but seeing as though, in this situation, they waited until the boss fight, I'm going to side with the OP on this one.

I'm plenty willing to help. I'll help any random finish any strike. Glitching for keys isn't the same thing. That's an exploit. I won't help you exploit the game. I don't help my friends do that, why would I help some random schmoe? For the record, I never farmed Omnigul, I never glitched Crota to kneel, and I never pushed Atheon off his platform. If you want to play the game, play the game and take the RNG. If you want to exploit the game, get a full team to help you. Don't expect a random person to do it for you.

Initially, it could go either way. But once they started spamming him, then they became the rude people.

If it was at the beginning of the strike the this I could understand but this wasn't, this was right at the boss room and suddenly they expect him to drop everything cause they want to invite their buddy in. Just finish the strike, separate and then create your 3 man team instead of being rude by asking someone to give up their fun for some other random's benefit.
