They are asking someone to give up the time they have put into the strike for their own means. He even said that the guys that were asking him to leave had a team. They could have waited for the trials team to finish then go and farm keys rather than ask a random to leave. That is quite rude to do. Ask somebody to leave mid strike and give up any potential rewards and the xp from the strike.
