Cannon quickly rolls to his feet, diving for one of the covered sections of the trench while staying low enough to keep out of sight, he disappears into the bunker-like section just as the missile hits.

The missile hits his previous sniper position, destroying it. The blast and pressure wave also hits the bunker, but not nearly as hard. The entrance to the arena is slightly ruined, and has some debris. However, it's still possible to exit... or enter. As the dust begins to settle, JJ begins circling around to the bunker area, his cannon fully charged with a red energy. Upon being just around the corner from it, he cautiously peeks around.

He's met by an energized duranium quarrel from Cannon's sniper, the round slamming into his weapon.

The round his the side of the cannon, slightly damaging it but not massively hindering its performance, as the shot that was about to be fired would destroy any material that shouldn't be within a certain arena in a cannon. "Gah, damn it! Screw you too, buddy!" JJ recoils behind cover, before suddenly jumping out from cover and shooting through the entrance with his charge shot. Some energy hit the debris, while the rest passed into the bunker. The "energy" begins to melt away the debris; the shot was actually comprised of superheated plasma. Finishing his roll, JJ takes cover on the other side of the trench leading to the bunker,

From the entrance, a missile launches out. The rocket streaks past JJ before detonating in mid air, spraying liquid plasma in all directions.

The thrusters on the back of the suit react nearly the exact instant JJ notices the missile and its detonation point. The thrusters quickly carry him to a position mostly safe from the plasma and Cannon's guns. However, some plasma does land on JJ's right thigh. He quickly disengages the layers of armor that are about to suffer damage, saving the rest of the armor. On the side of his right thigh, JJ's armor is now weaker. "So, we're playing the missile game, eh? Fine!" The suit quickly locks onto the bunker, particularly its entrance. The missile rack appears once more, and fires another grey warhead missile. The explosive guides its way to the entrance, and then disappears into the bunker. A split-second later, an explosion could be heard as a small bit of flame licks the air outside the bunker. But, the outside of the bunker's still intact.

Smoke comes billowing out of the bunker entrance, blanketing the area around it in smoke. Suddenly, another sniper bolt streaks from the cloud, slamming into JJ's wounded leg.

"What the hell!? I hate snipers!" The remaining armor had taken most of the force of the bullet, but It impacted with enough force to bruise JJ, and damage his muscles somewhat. His movement was relatively unhindered, with only a slight limp. The suit triangulated Cannon's position once more, but there was no missile this time. Instead, there was an angry JJ, disregarding everything in between him and Cannon as he used his thrusters to barrel through it all at immense speed. Once he began to near cannon's position, he began to slow down, just enough to not overshoot where he was hiding. He tried to move in an unpredictable serpentine pattern, but he knew he would take a couple of shots. Either way, JJ reached Cannon's position. He then lit it up with multiple uncharged shots being fired at the position and it's immediate area. He then went to jump into said area and investigate.

Cannon had moved as soon as he fired, using that common sniper technique to it's fullest and sending another heavily energized plasma coated bolt at JJ's chest.

Edited by jj1042: 11/22/2016 12:48:54 AMJJ saw him move however, and followed him. The chest was the most heavily armored part of the entire armor, boasting seven layers of material. So, he disengaged the uppermost 3 layers of the front chest plate. Still, he was upon Cannon. He fired four shots at Cannon, keeping a medium distance. Close enough to predict and dodge any sniper rounds, but far enough to keep out of melee range. [spoiler]Eating dinner. May be long in a reply.[/spoiler]

Cannon steps back, easily dodging the slower plasma rounds from his opponent as he swaps back to his rifle attachment. He opens fire, putting several well aimed bursts at JJ and ducking back into cover.

JJ likewise ducks behind cover, a few bullets catching his right left shoulder armor. He then pops out from around cover, and suppresses Cannon's position. He then begins running toward Cannon's position with a slight limp. When he reaches Cannon's position, he fires a charged beam directly at him.

Cannon ignores the suppressing fire, activating his jetpack to dodge the beam and sending a barage of micro rockets streaking at him from mere meters away.

JJ uses his thrusters to dodge, taking minimal damage from the blast and the pressure waves. JJ then turns his weapon to the sky, aiming for Cannon's jet pack. He quickly switches firing modes, and pulls the trigger. A bolt of lightning spews forth, rushing for Cannon's jet pack. JJ had activated the Tesla function. While the lightning is weaker, it can still short circuit and it moves as fast as a lightning bolt.

Cannon's pack takes a hit and he drops, rolling across the ground and coming up on his feet. "Now I'm angry. I just finished painting tgat!" He opens fire, sending a spray of plasma bolts at JJ.

Edited by jj1042: 11/22/2016 2:39:24 AMJJ ducks into cover again, catching two plasma bolts on the edge of his shoulder armor. He disengages the outer two layers out of 5 on that particular area. He peeks out at Cannon, and locks on. The missile rack appears again, this time carrying a larger, green warhead. The missile fires, and rockets toward Cannon in a spiraling motion to avoid gunfire. If the missile impacts, it'll deal a massive amount of damage. [spoiler]Sorry for the slow replies. I'm trying to take every opportunity to reply I can get.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]No problem.[/spoiler] Cannon tosses an anti thermal smoke grenade, the smoke breaking the lock as he dives for cover to avoid the explosion.

The missile spirals out of control, blowing up away from Cannon's position. However, the explosion is much larger, and the pressure wave hurts Cannon, as well as JJ to some extent. JJ then jumps up, and runs to Cannon's position, trying to destroy his cover with uncharged shots. He eventually reaches the position, with a shot almost fully charged.

Cannon grabs an ion grenade, cooks it, and throws. The resulting EMP electrocuting both of them and frying their armor's electrical components. [spoiler]Ion is more powerful than a normal EMP by about 10 times. EMP hardening will not do much.[/spoiler]

JJ's armor begins to fall from him, all components requiring electricity to work and hold themselves together. They fall away, revealing a surprisingly small man, who is [i]incredibly[/i] pissed off. "No! That's it, you die!" A red aura begins to form around JJ, and almost takes a shape, although it's hard to tell what it is. The same goes for his sword in his sheathe, although it's a black aura. JJ finishes his rush, and is in Cannon's face now. He grips the hilt of his blade, and presses a small red button on the top of his sheathe. A small explosion is heard, and the blade comes flying out of the sheathe at a blinding speed. He aims for Cannon's gun, attempting to use the sword to destroy it.

Cannon swings his armored gauntlet up to block the blow, swinging his rifle at JJ's face. [spoiler]You're using a sim, right?[/spoiler]

[spoiler]No. Go ahead and try to kill him anyway[/spoiler] The sword get stuck the armor, losing its momentum. However, JJ can still maneuver himself. With the rifle in his face, JJ performs a disarming move, tearing the gun away from Cannon's hands. He then unloads an entire clip directly into Cannon's chest, and then pulls his sword out when the clip's empty.

Cannon staggers back, the energy bolts slapping against his armor and leaving nasty burn marks. "You think you're the first one to try and use my own gear against me?" He laughs, stepping forward and headbutting JJ's face.
