I never said JJ was in front of the ash, but okay.
JJ quickly conjures a shield of ash, blocking the rocket before it can hit him. However, some of the blast wave pushes through, hitting JJ. However, the blue flames absorb the blast, simply adding to the flame. However the pressure wave does internal damage, hurting JJ and disorienting him.

Cannon opens fire through the opening with his blaster pistol, activating his liquid nitrogen sprayer on the flames and cutting off their oxygen as he fires on JJ.

JJ only catches two rounds in his left shoulder, but he immediately fills the wound with ash and digs out the plasma. He then flies at Cannon, dodging the other shots and and bursting through the ash walls at the entrance. He gets directly into Cannon's face, and unloads his shotgun into Cannon's chest. The fire begins to burn through his armor.

Suddenly, the entire arena flashes with a bright orange light. And a deafening sound rings through the combatants ears....
A new FIGHTING post will be made.
"Arg!" Cannon is blown off his feet, flying across the bunker and landing on the floor in a heap. He reaches for his datapad and taps it, behind JJ, the Anti Tank heavy missile from Cannon's jetpack, which he had lodged into the wall near the entrance, explodes. The force tearing half the bunker away in an awsome display of firepower, burrying JJ under the rubble and leaving Cannon covered in dust.
That's not even close to how a bunker would work. If a bunker is destroyed, and one is inside, you DO NOT just get covered in dust. You get buried along with everyone else inside. Use some logic.

concrete holds up pretty well. Have you seen pics of bunkers in WW1 that took direct hits? One corner is gone, the wrest is still up.
