What exactly were you gonna gain from killing a strike boss for the 4th time in an hour? Lol May aswell have accepted the first party invite you got, made 2 new buddies, and farmed some keys together. Instead it turned into some bitter and childish stand off over something as trivial as who has dibs on a shitty strike lol in which you would gain nothing. Pretty pathetic behaviour all around if you ask me.
