Nah,i think they were just inviting him to party chat so they could coordinate. They were already matchmade in game. Ive had people invite me at omnigul and the undying mind before. Sometimes i join the party, sometimes i dont. The way i see it, nothing ventured nothing gained. If it were me, id have taken a chance. Its always cool to meet new people to play with at random places in the game. But thats just my opinion. Ops post sounded totally uneccesary to me. Worst case scenario is he may have had to rerun a simple strike. Best case scenario, he makes 2 new friends and they chill and farm some keys. Maybe check out a nightfall after. Lots of possibilities
