[i]Instead of looking even more worried or even scared, Luke just smiled, before placing his left hand on Keri's right shoulder, giving it a soft squeeze. [/i]
"I promise to you that I won't let anything bad happen to me, okay? We'll make it last, right?"

[b]She looks over at him, the sad smile still present on her face.[/b] "Yeah... Alright. We'll make it last, yeah."

"Indeed we will, dear." [i]Luke said, looking back at Keri as he kept the smile. He was somewhat worried that the "dear" would ruin it, though. [/i]

[b]Keri slowly reaches up to her shoulder, and slides his hand off of it, then she holds it gently. She was happy. Content. It'd been so long since she'd been in a relationship, she'd forgotten how much she worried.[/b] "Thank you... So much."

[i]The Russian himself was rather carefree, not worrying about anything in his life at the moment. He had moved past the deaths of anyone that he loved, and, well, there really wasn't much to worry about for Lucas. [/i] "Thank me?" [i]He asked, somewhat confused. He hadn't done anything besides say a few things, right? Either way, Luke wasn't complaining as he just smiled at Keri.[/i]

"I... Just thank you. You've been so kind and... We haven't even known each other a day and... You're just awesome."

"Everyone deserves kindness, especially someone as nice as you. You've been the same to me; kind and friendly. Very, at that. So, you shouldn't be the only one thanking someone. Thank you, Keri."

"No... I haven't done anything. You've comforted me twice in the past hour, Lucas. You've done so much more for me than I have you... Can I do anything to repay you?"

"Anything, Keri? Well, there's only a single thing you can do to repay me: just continue being yourself. That's all." [i]He let go of his fork, placing his now free hand on Keri's, smiling at the blind woman. [/i] "Can you do that for me?"

[b]The hint of sadness was gone, and Keri was lightly blushing. Nobody had said anything like that before to her...[/b] "I'll try."

[i]Lucas softly squeezed Keri's hand, before nodding slowly and with a wide smile. He slowly withdrew his right hand, placing it at the side of his plate. [/i] "Thank you, dear. That's all I'll ask of you." [i]The gentlemanly Russian then quickly leaned in, placing a swift and soft kiss upon Keri's left cheek. He then moved back, a smile playing around his lips. [/i]

[b]Keri's smile grew wider, and she blushed even more... She'd always been the one to kiss people on the cheek... Being on the receiving end? Well, she actually liked it. She quickly leaned over and gave him a small kiss on the cheek as well.[/b]

[/i] "Thank you," [i]Was all he said, an ever so slight red colour creeping onto his face. He was old and gruff, but he still was able to blush, it seemed, however "girly" it was. [/i]

[i]About half an hour later, when night was settling in, Luke and Keri found themselves back on the streets, Lucas having a delighted, satisfied expression on his face as he walked hand-in-hand with his dare for the day, to a clothing store for a hat. [/i] "So, after you finish your look, we part ways?" [i]He asked, curiousity in his voice. [/i]

[b]Keri started swinging their arms forwards and backwards, a steady speed. She looked over at him, smiling.[/b] "That's really up to you. I was just gonna spend some time in the sim, you can come with me if you'd like."

[i]Lucas, instead of resisting the swinging, just relaxed his arm somewhat, going with the swinging, essentially. Just so that Keri wasn't the only one doing effort. [/i] "Sure, I'd love to. Will you load a street or something from Cedyetica?"

"Oh, I'm not loading just a street. I'm loading the entire city."

"Didn't you say that takes about an entire hour? I mean, I'm okay with waiting for a while, of course."

"I've been loading it up since we left, man. It's already done. I just wanna grab a hat first."

"Ah, should have thought about that. You know, Keri, I'm sure you'll look.. Ac cute, with your hat."

"Heh. Thanks." [b]They arrive over at the shop, and walk in. Keri walks over to the left corner, and grabs a cowboy hat from a rack. She goes up to the counter, and pays. She then goes back outside, Lucas in tow. She puts the hat on.[/b] "How do I look?"
