Boredom.
12:39 PM, Courtyard B3
With the Tournament finishing off with it's final contestants, things were slowing down. Xavier, who was one of the contestants who did not win the first bracket was seen just simply relaxing, bored. He sat on one of the benches, staring at the sky with a blank face.
Then the rain abruptly settled in. A few dark clouds settled in over the dojo, about to dump a whole lotta water. He noticed this, and stood up.
"Crap."
Open, would appreciate it if people replied.
"Huh. Fits kind of oddly." There had been a man sitting by you, that went unnoticed til now. He wore NCR RANGER armor and didn't seem bothered by the rain
-
"Okay, how did... Ah, nevermind. I should get out of here before I get soaked, if you don't mind me." He started to leave B3.
-
The man stood, his armor dripping from the downfall "I don't know how to respond xD."
-
Woahwoahwoah, time out. Xavier turned to him. "Oh goddammit don't break the fourth wall!"
-
"Man forget the wall! It's been broken. I mean Deity breaks it all the time."
-
"Okay no. We better repair it, otherwise weird shït happens."
-
"Weird shit?"
-
Suddenly, a whole lotta white noise gets blasted into The Ranger's ears.
-
"Can you stop that? I know this doesn't happen when the wall breaks."

"It never happens!"

As the dark clouds rolled in, the rain began to increase in weight and velocity... It would be a downpour soon enough. And as Xavier felt it began to pick up in strength, a figure began to emerge from the hazy blur. As it moved, white shapes began to swirl and unfold behind it, forming a large outcropping of shapes and movement. Then... It came into view. She was pretty... About 5'7... With fair skin and dark wavy hair. She wore a red dress that stopped right above he knees, made of silk. Long sleeves that broke away from her shoulders hid her soft hands. Her eyes glistened a mischievous yellow. Beyond that, however, were the nine large white tails that stuck out from behind her, and the two pointy fox like ears that stuck out atop her head... Odd... Human, but not quite. "Not a good time to be staying out, don't you think?" She mused, the rain seemingly avoiding her. It seemed to hit her dress, hair, skin... But only slid off...

Xavier squinted through the fog, then cleaned his glasses and looked again. Did she just... Come out of nowhere? "Yeah, I do agree..." He looked around. They were in courtyard B3, so there wouldn't be any cover from the rain. Unless you count the trees, but they aren't reliable in terms of shelter. The rain drops were getting into his jacket, but not soaking him all the way to the bone. "Well, we must run on outta here. I wouldn't be caught out here, freezing." He started going over to cross the bridge.
-
She followed, an amused smile crossing over her lips. "Not a fan of the water? I like it personally... Feels nice on the skin." Well, not that it clung to her. She seemed to stay dry no matter the condition. "And where might you be heading?"
-
"Oh, no. I do like water, but I prefer not to be freezing. You get what I mean?" He wasn't annoyed by the rain, she could clearly tell. "And for your second question, I'm just looking for somewhere that has a considerable amount of shelter from the rain."
-
Karishad, the werefox, was right behind him. "What is it?"
-
Edited by Tamedfrog: 11/27/2016 7:21:31 AM"Yeah no, it's going to rain. Pretty heavily also, it seems." He points up to the sky.
-
Kari looks up. "Yup. Small hurricane. Probably not a good idea to be outside."
-
Edited by Tamedfrog: 11/27/2016 7:42:23 AM"Well, we better rush. We're in B3, so we can't stay here." The rain starts, small drops starting to fall.
-
"Guess im followin' you then."
-
He proceeds to cross the bridge, then out of B3.
-
Kari follows intently, not wanting to get wet.
