Mmm, depends on my file. Right now I'm playing a Nord werewolf, very much a Stormcloak. He is actually secretly the son of Hircine though, and instead of a werewolf he turns into a Werebear. Other file is a Dunmer Vamp Lord. 100% imperial, but I still hate the Thalmor either way.

Wouldn't you rather spam invis and other spells while hidden..? Silent casting is my favorite perk in this game. Some spells are extremely useful when sneak-casting, and you wouldn't even think it. Also the throw voice shout works wonders with this build. Lots of high level enemies tank destruction spells but if you're hidden you can SUPER SPAAAAAAAM.

True those spells are great but my friend found out during his thief build that everything becomes so easy with that but everything comes to be op eventually in skyrim lol
