When they continue to deny nearly the entire community the chance at end game completion, this is what happens. Nobody even cares enough to bitch anymore.

Excuse me? How did they do that exactly.

Look at the stats of completion of raids man. Only one of the raids has a double digit number on percentage with completion trophy earned. I get that this game isnt for everyone. Especially since all but single player pve and crucible requires one to have a fireteam. Between the glitches in end game content, connectivity issues and trials, most players have turned to other games. The fact that all we have to look forward to for the next year is another Lizard Squad DDoS attack at Christmas and maybe some SRL lends pretty tightly to the theory I propose. And lets not get started on weapon balance. Prior to IB dropping god rolls on Clever Dragon from the vendor, the balance seemed pretty legit. Mida wasnt ruling the roost anymore and a good variety of weapon use in all game modes was seen. Now, go play a crucible match that you dont get melted by multiple Clever Dragons in less time than it takes to react to it. Fact is, less than 5% of players have earned a raid trophy in the RoI dlc. Crota yields barely over 10%, of which a good portion didnt get until after the Oryx raid came out and light level increase made it easier. Check out your trophies earned and see what the raid completion trophies percentages are. They are almost all very rare or higher on hm. A game that has been out this long should have a higher rate than that. A solution would be dedicated servers to help eliminate the peer to peer server setup that currently exists that allows for so many variables it makes your head spin. Look, its not a horrible game. But it lacks the ability to capture and keep casual players or anyone who doesnt have the time to drop 8 plus hours a week on it. IB is about the only reprieve the casual player gets which is pretty evident bybthe amount of people that anyone used to play with reappearing during it. Dont get me wrong, I still play the game a lot. But there seems to be a lot "little issues" that if remedied would lend to a better exoerience for everyone.

Many games have small percentages for completing the game

After nearly 3 years? Roughly 450k players played trials this weekend. Barely 11.7% made the lighthouse. The same players as almost every week save for the first timers on a carry or the players on the cusp that finally made it likely due to the increase in sub par players playing due to the long weekend with the holiday. The numbers dont lie. Same for the weapons used. A balanced game doesnt see 2 classes of weapons used of which 2 specific weapons are used more than any other. Forcing a player base to adjust to a made up strength doesnt make the game fun. Making two weapons better than any every weapon in the game and putting them on an rng after they sold it in the best possible form from a vendor for few days and then setting the meta to cater to those weapons for months on end ruins it for everyone who doesnt have them. And then the classes. Jesus, the classes. A warlock melee from absurd distances that has range farther than all shotguns except for Matador? Who's short bus reject from alternative school idea was that? And add blink to that class during its super? Holy hell does it get any more jacked than that? Watch Triplewreck's video on the stormcaller melee if you dont believe me. Throw in ghost rounds, ghost melee, hunter backstab while standing face to face and head shot zone seemingly randimized at times and you have the most frustrating experience in a game combined with no consistency. All that combines for a rage quit from just about anyone.

Many solo players are on destiny a d not all of us are into raiding, hell the rewards are not really worth it anyway, add in the fact there is no ingame lfg or matchmaking so many (myself included) cant be arsed with 3rd party apps to find teams. the raid amor looks crap compared to even faction gear with exception to VoG which isnt endgame level, ornaments tried to make them more appealing but again only a very small carrot for a pain in the ass system.
