I think when the player base drops in such a huge, dramatic way, the game is dead. People still play CoD World at War, but is that dead? What about Halo Reach? Hell, even something like Fallout 3, Oblivion... Face it, when there's a [i]huge[/i] drop in players, the game is declared dead. Whether you like it or not.
