Because Destiny sucks, I want to recommend everyone a single game.
Dark Souls.
Buy it for $10, but is an actual complete game compared to most other games of our era of games.
Games to play:
Dark Souls
Dark Souls 2
Dark Souls 3
Bloodbourne
If you aren't feeling it...
Dead Space

They're great but the series isn't for everyone. I've completed all of them and BB but for your average person these games are borderline masochism.
-
Borderline masochism? They're a masochist's dream
-
This is can agree with
-
Amen!
-
Don't like the graphics. Looks kinda grey alot.
-
You most likely only looked at one area. Its dark (souls) for sure but in just the first game there are plenty of areas that arent just gray. Darkroot garden and Basin as well as valley of the drakes are all a nice green, anor londo is just beautiful in general, Lost Izalith and the Demon ruins have reds and oranges everywhere (lots of fire and lava) and more. That is if we are talking about ds1. For the other games I would have to give different examples because none of them are in the same world.
-
Yeah I could be more patient really.
-
-
If it had PvP....... idk I kind of enjoy shooting people. Once I beat the PvE aspect of a game I'm kind of just done with it and if that's all the game has to offer well to me not worth the time.
-
There is PvP in Dark Souls
-
Not true PvP
-
Edited by Volactic Milk: 11/30/2016 2:02:18 PMIt is true PvP, Arena in the Ooracile Sanctuary. You literally fight people to the death there. Also you can invade people and help people. I'm sorry it's not an FPS. This was JUST Dark Souls (Uno) Dark Souls 2 and 3 have much more possibilities and gameplay. It's basically a multiplayer LoZ.
-
Yeah it's not a true PvP. It's like the division gross. Sure you can take on other people but just because you can kill people doesn't make something PvP. Heck the division may as well call what garbage they offer PvEvP
-
The Arena is player to player combat, you matchmake with people and fight to the death. Dark Souls 2/3 expands on this. Dark Souls has everything, PvE, Division PvEvP, and PvP
-
Meh I still don't consider dueling PvP.... idk maybe that's just the marine in me and my love for squad tactics tis why I'm now hooked on bf1
-
There is a whole pvp mode in ds3 seperate from the invasions that has free for alls, one on ones, two on twos, three on threes, and there might be a bigger mode. If you are looking for a big map and tactical choices look elsewhere though. The map for the arena is just a small area where you fight to the death.
-
Edited by CaptainW1nky: 12/1/2016 2:57:38 PMI'm just not into certain types of PvP nor do I consider them PvP.... example... the division..... that is not pvp what so ever... that is pve with the ability to spawn trap individuals until they quit the game.
-
Well you cant just not consider it pvp. Thats not how it works. If two players are fighting eachother, its pvp.
Well you cant just not consider it pvp. Thats not how it works. If two players are fighting eachother, its pvp.
Its a hot mess
-
Well, I understand what you mean by squad tactics being what you prefer. Give Dark Souls a try, at least #1 (arguably my favorite). Costs as much as a Pizza now and gave me over 70 hours for a mainly PvE game, still not ready to move on to DSII, but I fell in love with the entire game.
-
Yeah idk I've played PvE games and just didn't care for them. Bought fall out 4 and the expansion and never even beat the base story. I have no idea what the expansion looks like either. I get bored quickly playing by myself.
-
Same, Fallout 4 bored me fast. Dark Souls is a little different however, there is ALWAYS something to do, the world is big, but not big enough to walk to nowhere for 10 minutes. Filled with countless secrets and of course even slight PvP and an actual cool story. I actually recommend playing alongside a friend that has played Dark Souls, my friend told me to play and I did, he already beat it countless times but gave me a few pointers without spoiling anything, he let me have fun and play, but he let me in on the story and lore, secrets I would have never found and give me pointers. It made the already AWESOME experience, even better. I am at the point that I play alone and enjoy it, I play well and rarely die, and absolutely love it.
-
When I get bored with bf1 ill check it out. Idk there is just something so amazingly hilarious when your playing with 2 of your former miltary buddies, your all in a bomber, and you hop out on a point that's over run and clear it out. My buddy was a navy doc attached to us and he usually plays medic so idk hearing him yell at us not to give up on life and watch him sprint through a hail of gunfire for a revive is priceless.
-
OMG! I'd love to watch and listen to that! Haha
-
It's pretty glorious were a bunch of idiots idk how we do good. Idk I love that game. I definitely needed a break from the mess that trials is.
