That Warlock never expected her to return.
He had flaunted that piece of bone and spoke as if the creature that once possessed it was invincible. All-powerful. Immortal.
He had been half right.
It took her years. It took her years of looking for the faintest tracks. Looking for the slightest movement in the skies or caves. The most trace smells of smoke.
The faint, oh so faint, sound of those whispers...
She had finally tracked it down, one day. She thought she had it.
Oh, how wrong she was.
It had known she was looking for it. Thought she would lose interest. It became interested itself when it saw how she pursued.
And oh, how she had pursued.
She listened as it spoke sweet, gentle whispers of desires, of all that a Hunter could want. And how it could bestow all that and more. She even found herself being drawn in by those hushed, alluring tones...
But she remembered her purpose.
And though the fight took months, she was the only to emerge living. And on her arm, her trophy.
That was not all she had taken from the young dragon. She had learned something from it. A lesson that she then taught her Light.
And do you know what she learned?
She learned patience, oh reader mine.
Thought of this after reading Ghost Fragment: Warlock 1, and I thought it might be neat.
Let me know what you think!

Edited by THA_3rd_GUY: 11/30/2016 10:35:07 PMThe Warlock wanted to study the Ahamkara bones. The Hunter wanted to use the bone for armor. The Titan wanted to punch the bone to strengthen his own fists. The Warlock and the Hunter didn't let the Titan have any bones.
