"I've been better. Haven't really seen her much since the whole osik storm with the agents. Been in the hospital till yesterday."
The Mando replies, rubbing his still healing arm.

"Yeah, noticed. Kinda just sat there with Frisky for a while at my house until they showed back up with her. She's getting better."
-
Cannon seems to look slightly relieved. "Glad to hear it. That was a rough mission, she deserves some rest." His drink arrives and he takes a long swig.
-
"Fûck yeah it was a tough mission. Just glad I was able to get everyone out."
-
"Same here. So, you pay rhe legion back for the arm?"
-
"Killed fifty of them since we met, so yeah. I'd say so."
-
"Glad to hear it. I never asked this before, but where exactly are you from? I know you're from the NCR, but what planet is that planet and such."
-
"Planet? Earth. Born in Shady Sands, California, USA. How about you?"
-
"Technically I left the containment cell on Kamino, so I guess I was born there. Don't consider it my home by any means. I'm from Mandalore." He takes another sip. "Been looking for a new home for the clan though, part of the reason I came here."
-
"Hm... Alright." I take a long drink from my whiskey.
-
"Out of curiosity, would this... Earth make a decent home for a few thousand Mandos?" Cannon asks, looking slightly hopeful.
-
"Depends. You willing to help out NCR?"
-
"Well, I'm sure the chief would be willing to make a treaty of sorts. You seem like the good guys, even if you can't seem to beat the sports-wear legion."
-
"The Legion back in the USA was beaten. This is the only safe-haven for them left."
-
"Huh, dosent seem to safe any more. One of them tried to ambush me earlier today on the road. It was almost comical to see them threaten with a baseball bat." He laughs.
-
"Heh. One of the recruits, eh? Yeah, I've killed tons of them."
-
"I almost felt bad about it. He broke the bat over my helmet. You should have seen the look on his face when he realised it didn't hurt me."
-
"Heh. After what they did to my wife and kid? No mercy. No regret."
-
"What happened?" Cannon's smile fades, hos tone now serious.
-
"I was on patrol, they burnt my house down, killed my wife, took my daughter as a slave, she was killed a year later by them."
-
"Oh. Sorry to hear that. Now I wish I'd killed the shabuir slowly. A headshot is too fast for someone who kills children."
-
"She was only seven... Bastards deserve every bullet I put in them. Wanna come with me later to torture the hell out of their leader?"
-
"Sounds like a plan. My interrogation skills are a bit rusty, so I could use the practice. Should I being the dulling knife or rusted needle?" Cannon downs his drink.
-
"Oh, I've got lots other things to do that. How 'bout we drink to forget for now, though?"
-
Cannon nods, ordering another pint. "Agreed. So, What's Earth like?"
-
"A wasteland."
