I walk right up to them.
"Now what are you kids laughing about?"
English

They continue to laugh. Iso: "Nothing!" Arty: "Nothing at all!"
-
"Was it about me and Charlotte? Saw y'all staring at me."
-
They both shake their heads in sync. Arty and Iso: "Nope!" They look at each other. Arty and Iso: "Jinx!" They start to laugh at their own childish actions.
-
I smirk. They were technically both adults, but they were acting like kids. Made me happy, really. "Then what was is? C'mon, just tell me!"
-
They look at each other again and then back to you. They then huddle, whispering to each other.
-
"Come on, kiddos! No sense in hiding secrets!"
-
They turn to Grant with nervous smiles. Iso: "I don't know if it's something I feel comfortable talking about with my father..." Arty: "We were talkin' about boys" Iso's face goes red and she starts to hit a laughing Arty.
-
I laugh. Of course. What else would two girls in their teens talk about. "Iso, I have a question. What do you think about Cannon?"
-
Iso gets extremely nervous and red. Iso: "I-I don't know honestly. H-He's fun to be around and kinda cute, but..." Arty: "He has no emotions?" Iso: "Well...yeah. Also, after being in his head I feel kind of weird around him."
-
"What was in his head? Me and him talked a little the other day, he doesn't seem emotionless."
-
Iso: "Are you joking? He has them all bottled up and doesn't catch any hints I throw him." Arty: "He's not even that cute...."
-
"Hm. Weird. I was talking to him and he seemed like anybody else. We were exchanging war stories. Huh. Well, got your eye on anybody else, Pan?"
-
Arty winces from Grant saying "Pan" and Iso tears up slightly. Iso: "N-No...not really." Arty: "It's better that way!" Arty agressively hugs Iso and they both laugh. Arty: "More time with your best friend!"
-
I immediately realize my mistake. I felt bad. "Iso... I'm sorry. I... You just act so much like her... And you are her technically... I'm sorry."
-
Iso waves it off. "It just brings back bad memories."
-
I sigh, and walk right up to them. A put a hand on her shoulder. "I would guess. I know what it's like to have very bad memories. It's why I don't use my first name."
-
Iso smiles up at Grant. "Thank you for understanding, father. I wish to leave that name behind."
-
I smile back at her. "Alright, kiddo. I'll try not to use it from now on, alright?"
-
Iso hugs Grant. Iso: "Thank you, father!" Arty: "You two look cute as a father and daughter."
-
I hug her back, and chuckle. "Guess we do, Art. Guess we do..."
-
Iso giggles too. Arty: "...because of my family situation could I...join in?"
-
"Of course you could. I don't mind, and I doubt Iso does."
-
Iso opens an arm for Arty to join. Arty hesitates, but joins in. Arty: "Thank you!"
-
I hug them both, a soft embrace from me. "No problem, kiddo. Hey, where's Sasha?"
-
Arty: "I have no idea. I invi-" Sasha: "Here!" Sasha comes out of nowhere wearing a lovely white dress and tackles Arty to the ground. She sits with her legs crossed on Arty's chest laughing. Sasha: "I'm here, sis!"
