[spoiler]Have i ever mentioned Kari loves parties?[/spoiler]
Karishad, the werefox, was huddled in the corner of a courtyard. He had gone there because he was fairly shy of large crowds because of...reasons. He had been trying to find Artemis to thank her again for helping keep his family fed, even if it was just one meal. He hadn't been able to find her by scent for some reason, instead, some other smell seemed to be clogging his nose. Most wouldn't be bothered by the smell of a huge number of humans in one area, but with his enhanced olfactories (the things that allow you to smell), it gave him quite the headache. He was sipping on a plastic cup of water he had poured for himself, trying to work his way around the crowd without attracting too much attention. Being himself, he was quite noticeable despite his best efforts.

[i]Artemis sneaks behind him and covers his eyes with her hands. She giggles at her antics.[/i]

He giggles, remembering how her laugh sounds. "Hmm... i wonder who that is?"

[i]Artemis breaks into a full laugh and removes her hands.[/i] "Just a girl too dressed up and not really into parties."

He giggles and turns to face her. "Well, you look amazing, and smell quite nice too."

[i]Arty looks to the side with her tail covering her blushing face.[/i] "Th-Thanks, but you don't have to lie. I don't really look good in dresses and my hair is...I don't know."

He giggles. "Im not lying, i think you look nice."

[i]Arty punches Kari on the shoulder lightly as her face got redder.[/i] "You can stop now."

"Stop what!?" he asked playfully, pushing her shoulder lightly.

[i]Arty gets slightly annoyed and rolls her eyes.[/i] "Why are you here anyway?"

"I came here looking for you, i guess. I dunno, it just feels like i didn't thank you enough. You know, even though i said it a thousand times. I didn't expect there to be this many people here though...what's going on exactly?"

"My friend Iso has reunited with a bunch of old friends and nearly died in the process."

He nods. "And they're celebrating? Well ok. So...how've you been?" he asks, rubbing his arm.

[i]Artemis nervously smiles.[/i] "You know...okay. You?"

"Yeah, ive been doing quite well actually. On a recent hunt, i took Mari with me. We managed to catch like, seven deer. We'll be eating well for a few weeks. Also, i met this guy named Jason who's been helping us out with food."

[i]Arty's smile gets wider.[/i] "That's great! I'm happy for you and your family."

His smile is quite broad and his eyes seem to gleam as laughs happily. "Thanks, and seriously, thanks for last time. We really enjoyed the sushi."

[i]Arty shrugs.[/i] "It was nothing, really. You can stop thanking me."

"Well, still, it really meant a lot, to them, and to me." he said, looking down shyly.

[i]Arty pushes Kari playfully.[/i] "Hey, wanna meet my friend Iso?"

"Uh, sure, i guess." he says, shrugging. He smiles at her, like he forgot to say something to her the last time they saw each other, but either couldnt remember what it was or was too nervous to say.

[i]Arty leads Kari to a dancing Iso.[/i] [b]Art:[/b] "Kari, this is Iso. Iso, this is Kari." [b]Iso:[/b] "Hi!" [i]Iso hugs Kari tightly like she normally does when meeting people. Arty's smile weakens from seeing them hug.[/i]

Kari, squirms, not the best with physical contact from strangers. "Oof- Uh, hi."

[i]Iso hops up and down in excitement, rubbing her chest area up against Kari. Arty was getting visibly annoyed.[/i] [b]Iso:[/b] "Hi, new friend! Kari is a fun name!"

He blushes, clearly a little uncomfortable as he tries to politely ending the hug. "Th-thanks.. Iso is a nice name too?"

[i]Iso ends the hug, but keeps her hands on Kari's shoulders and stays close to him.[/i] [b]Iso:[/b] "Thanks! So, how do you know my friend?"
