For those that don't have enough Glimmer, I personally find going to the mission The Dark Beyond and farming the "We've woken the Hive!" part of the mission with a Black Wax Idol (and maybe a Hive Ghost) quite effective.
Just make sure you don't enter the room and leave enough minions to kill you so you can rinse and repeat.

4 RepliesAlso, another very good way of getting glimmer is learning to solo crota. From HM without killing Crota you get ~5k glimmer per run from radiant materials, and if you put on wax idols you can get even more. You could probably do it in about 25-30 minutes once you get good at it.
