If I understood the article correctly, unique rewards/gear are tied to the strike scoring and bounty completion. So in order to get them, you actually have to participate. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's a jab towards all of the complaints about afk-ers during strikes. Edited for typos

 • Took Bunghole this long to find a conclusion to a glaring problem we've had for over a year? Geez I don't wanna know how they'll 'fix' the other ones in 10 years... In all seriousness though this is a turn in the right direction at least.

 • It'd be foolish to think this will really curb the issue, but I agree it's a step. At least those of us that actually do the strike will be benefitted, even if afk-ers still get normal loot from sitting around with their thumb up their rear.

 • Yeah it won't curb it true, but it'll at least get people to stop warming the bench and expecting handouts. I may not play anymore, and bash the game, but I'm still rooting for some sort of success.

 • I wouldn't call it a jab. At least we'll know who did what now.

 • Yeah. Competition rights when playing with friends, scolding rights when playing with randoms. Haha.
