There's logical reasons for the splicers to go to Venus. That's where the vault of glass & other vex technology is located. Plus another fallen house has been there since vanilla, so the splicers could go there for whatever attracted the other house in the 1st place, maybe even as an attempt to unite the two houses like Skolas tried to do in HoW.
I'm not interested in the rehashed vs. new content debate. Bungie is gonna do what they want, & lore isn't gonna affect the choice they make. I just thought the topics of SIVA being on Venus & a rehashed Nexus being canonical was interesting.

No logically there isn't. The devil splicers would not know of the vex because the vex never came to earth. And anyway the devil splicers are no longer eliksni or fallen the moment they began messing with siva. Siva is they. Basically what they are thinking is all siva and no fallen
-
That's true for Aksis, but not every fallen. Aksis is the only one that became completely merged with SIVA. The fallen houses are capable of gathering information about other planets. No house is stranded on the planet they inhabit.
-
No one says they are stranded. But siva take complete control of all it comes into contact with lore wise. They were no longer thinking like fallen because siva had control of thier mind.
-
Again, that's only for Aksis. SIVA was given the directive to consume, enhance, & replicate from Rasputin, but the fallen have been experimenting with it without being completely consumed by it. That's why Kovik was able to use SIVA but still do his job.

No the fallen were experimenting with it because they didn't know what it was. That was thier downfall. It did mess with thier minds. They become reckless. Starting doing thing fallen would not do such as waltz right on into a hive breeding ground.
