Dude, the other guy said they maybe going to unnerf it and you asked why someone would use it even when it's unnerfed. That's what I'm referring to. If it's unnerfed, it's an awesome weapon for any hard mission or strike. Even with the nerfs a Y3 version would be awesome. Period. If you think otherwise, don't use it. Period. I used Icebreaker religiously in Y1 in strikes or VoG because it was an awesome weapon dealing with adds from safe distances without having any trouble with ammo or dying.
