Nobody except those asking for it will choose the matchmaking mechanic if it gets implemented. I have played with many good and bad teams for every raid using LFG, not too much else to say there. But after that, I mostly play solo. I do get ticked sometimes when it takes more than 10 minutes to find a group for VoG or CE, but then I imagine with matchmaking...
Even worse, all the current Strike and Crucible matchmaking problems aside, you would be unsure as to where you are in the raid for a minute, which would lead into confusion if you do not speak to the people already in the game. People are assholes, what is to say they will even teach you how to raid if you get in and don't know what to do? Yes it is their fault for choosing the matchmaking option in the first place but the point still holds.
It would be a nightmare.
Also the guy wasn't being toxic.

Yes he was, and so are you. It doesn't matter to you. Every single complaint you made would make zero difference to you if you choose to turn of Raid Matchmaking. If I choose to turn it on, then I would have to deal with the consequences you described. But since it wouldn't matter to you, why don't you just keep your mouth shut and let us ask for what we want? That's why it's toxic. You are trying to control us, when it makes no difference to you.

Just trying to save you from those consequences m8.

See, and that's what I'm saying. Thanks for thinking of me, but mind your business.
