A Tad Late for the Party.
The black dressed woman arrived at the foot of the Dojo's steps. Her hood covered her face, the fur keeping out the cold winds from hitting her skin. But the hood couldn't mask the light blue complexion she wore on her arms and face. She looked up the steps, letting out a breath of slight annoyance as she took her first steps, her sword bouncing in its sheath as it hit her back softly with each step towards the gate. She had a large black desert eagle holstered on the right of her hip, and her arm
Made a soft swooshing noise like it was being operated. Eventually, and completely out of breath, she reached the top of the stairs. She let out her breath, and grinned. She pulled back the fur hood to reveal her light, soft blue face but her fiery eyes and hair.
"Well...I guess it's time to do this then!"

"Ya well...most people have to wait!" The barista comes back with two cups. And sets them down. Anne grabs them both and hands one to Iso. "Here you are!"
-
Iso takes it with a smile and takes a sip. She immediatley cries out in pain. "HOT!"
-
Anne's eyes widen with surprise. "ISO!"
-
Iso has her eyes closed with a pained expression.
-
"Iso...it's called Hot chocolate for a reason..."
-
"Y-Yeah....I know now." Iso slowly opens her eyes and smiles. "I'm fine."
-
Anne smiles as well. "Good! How about we get some milk to cool down your cup, hey?"
-
Iso nods. "Milk is good!"
-
Anne grabbed a few small cups of milk, and handed a few to Iso. "Want to sit down?"
-
Iso pours the milk into her chocolate. "Sure, that would be nice."
-
The hot cocoa steams, then settles. The cup is now warm, rather then hot. Anne does the same, and takes a sip. "Mmmm. That's good." Anne pulled up a chair and sat down at a small table. Keeping her face over the drink to keep her face warm.
-
Iso sat down across the table from Ann. She slowly took a sip...then jugged the whole thing. Her lips had a large line of chocolate as she smiled like a small child. "This. Is. Awesome!"
-
Sorry! Got caught up with ending the tourney and stuff
"Haha! You may need a napkin, girl." Anne handed Iso a napkin.
-
Iso wiped her mouth with the napkin. "How did I not know about this before?!"
-
"Well where did you grow up? Hot chocolate is really only sold where it's cold so...."
-
Iso nervously laughs. "Yeah, I guess I grew up somewhere warm." Her hand shakes slightly as she raises her empty cup to her mouth.
-
Anne noticed the tremble, and realized it was best to not push the topic. "I grew up in a place much different then his you know...."
-
Iso's eyes beam with curiousity and excitement. She was obviously happy with the shift away from herself. "Where did you grow up?!"
-
Anne leaned over, a clever smile on her face. "I grew up.... In a completely different realm to this one!"
-
Iso leans over so she's face to face with Anne. "Tell me...."
-
Anne leaned back. Taking a sip. "Do you remember that big wall of dusk that was coating the world a month or so ago? The 'Twilight?'" The twilight had been corrupting the land for months after its appearance back in May, after the first tournament. It spread over the land, and anyone who entered had their spirit torn from their body. At least, that's what the rumour was.
-
"That must've happened just before I came here because I've never heard of it." Iso sits back down.
-
How long has Iso been on Tatakai?
"Well. I'm sure many others could tell you about it. But...I was born inside the twilight. It was my home."
-
"What was it like?! Was there hot chocolate?!" Iso was bouncing in her seat.
-
Anne laughed. "Sort of! Food wasn't the same as it is here. Actually, most things were rather cold. There wasn't much otherwise. See, we were basically trapped in these little pocketed islands in a separate realm. We could travel to each island through portals, but that didn't make them any less crowded. I, however. Lived on a mountain island. With my Father. ....in a Castle."
