Snow (or Quincy in this special occasion) was walking through the cafeteria. He (yes, i said he. Q is normal Q for a bit...dont ask why...) looked stone-faced, serious, rather emotionless as he entered the kitchen and started making something. What was it? He didn't know, or care. He just made whatever he was making, hoping to take his mind off whatever he was thinking.

Alpha was leaning against the doorway, wearing a black t-shirt, white sleeveless vest, and khaki-colored slacks, without any sort of shoes "howdy"
-
Alpha, we need to talk in private because clearly there's some stuff that needs to be cleared up. Make a group and invite me, please.
-
He looks up, recognizing Alpha's voice. A small smile breaks out across his face, but it isnt as big as normal. "Hi Alpha." he says, not quite happy but glad a friend showed up.
-
"What's your problem today?" he said, looking a little concerned
-
He sighed. "Is it that obvious?" he asked rhetorically. He then chuckles, but not in a joyful way. "Ah, my life is pretty screwed up. Though i can't really talk about it knowing almost everyone else has, or would at least claim, to have gone through worse... You ever have those moments where everything that's ever happened to you, everything you've ever done just catches up to you and pounds you til you can't breathe?" he asked. The way he said it made it clear it was metaphoric.
-
He laughed, a harsh laugh "Ha! you know I have"
-
Q's expression remained dead. "Figured. How long, might i ask?"
-
"I dunno how long it'll last....THIS time, but Its happened several times..."
-
"Happens to me any time i get a chance to think..." he says glumly as he gets some water for himself. He takes a sip, staring at the ground. "So...how's life?" He chuckled at the cliche question.
-
"Nice. My sister disowned me.....my adoptive mother rarely speaks to me. Just dandy."
-
He raises his eyebrows, actually quite surprised. "What?" was all he could say. His expression seemed to say 'WHAT THE LITERAL -boop-' though.
-
"yeah...Cassie....she..she found out what I did. Everything. that I did...." He sat down, and hung his head, tired and beaten
-
He plops down next to him, leaning on him, knowing how he felt. He sighed, knowing words don't always help.
-
"what the hell am I supposed to do?"
-
I think for a moment. "Well, if she's truly your sister she'll forgive you eventually. For now until then, just try to keep it together. And take time to mourn, holding stuff in doesn't help the pain...i would know... just...i know it sounds cliche but, hang in there." He sighed, forgetting whatever he was upset about and focused on helping his friend. "Im always around for you, i hope you know that."
-
"i hope you are.........Nobody else...Nobody else is"
-
He seems to snuggle up next to him, sighing. "Im sure things will turn around sometime, just stay positive.."
-
"let's talk about something else"
-
"What are you making?" Destanius called as he walked into the kitchen.
-
"A pie. I think." That was his response.
-
"Huh, why do you only think that you are going to make a pie?"
-
"It looks like a pie.." he says as he's currently laying crust in a pie pan.
-
"Well looks can often be deceiving." Says Destanius, who sounds a bit stoned.
-
After a few minutes, Q clearly was making a pumpkin pie. "Yup...pie..."
-
"What is the occasion?"
