Speaking as someone that plays with others and solo... Some people have work or family schedules that aren't conducive to being online to play at peak times when there are a lot of people to link up with. Also some people play when others are in bed in the house so they can't use a mic. There are plenty of other reasons as well.

again, it is a social game.. played around the world.. not just in your time zone.. while family and other issues can certainly be a reason to be doing other things it is very poor excuse to play solo.. you just have to put yourself out there to find a few people.. and not having the use of a mic is also a poor excuse.. those are limitations you place on yourself..

Again. It's harder for some people to group up. Not everyone has 116 days of their life to pour into this game like you have. Try looking at it from their perspective. Hate to break it to you, but this game can be played solo too. Otherwise they wouldn't have matchmaking for strikes, and they'd require fireteams for crucible like they do trials. Just because they choose to play that way doesn't give you the right to look down your nose at them.

Edited by justin_giver: 12/6/2016 4:57:49 AMI never said it can't however as a social game it baffles me that people make excuses for not finding people to play with. You don't need thousands of hours to put into the game, you don't have to be single with no kids. You need about 2 minutes to find a few people to play with and build on that. Maybe think about it more like this. If you enjoy personal sports like golf, tennis, bowling why would you suddenly decide it's time to play baseball and then complain you can't play because you have no team. Nothing wrong with being a solo player, just stop asking for everything to be made into a solo experience or asking bungie to find you players. Get social. I never said I look down on them, I simply ponder why a player chooses the solo route in a game clearly meant to be played socially. Your answer doesn't actually answer that at all.
