The Hunt for Santa
Cannon crouched over the struggling form tied to a chair.
"Tell me what I want to know, and you go free."
"N-no!"
Cannon drew a knife.
"Fine! I am one of Santa's Elves! Please don't hurt me!"
"And how do I find his workshop?"
"I don't know! He never lets us see the outside! I was the first to escape in years! You've got to believe me!"
"I do. And I want to catch this man. So please cooperate."
"Y-yes sir!"
A snap can be heard from behind. Cannon wheels around, weapon raised.
"Who goes there?"
Open for any who want to hunt Santa. You are what made the snap.
"Oh, he does." "And he's an evil madman!" Adds the elf.
-
"Uh huh. Well I'm willing to see how far this rabbit hole goes." Anne tosses Cannon the bag filled with adaptors and cords as she walks towards the elf.
-
"Save me! I barely escaped that jolly a** freakshow when this psychopath ambushed me!"
-
"Well the crazy ass freak show is gunna let you go when you tell us where St.Nick is..." Anne glared at Cannon. "Won't he?!"
-
Cannon shrugs. "I guess so."
-
"Fantastic. So, elf guy. Where's your former master at?"
-
"No! The boss will kill me if I tell you!" Cannon leans up to him, his visor inches from the elf's face. "I can kill you too. The difference is I'm here, your boss is not." The elf goes pale.
-
"And let's be real elf boy. Your boss is already trying to kill you. If you help us find out where he is, we can take care of him before he takes care of you...."
-
"Eep! Fine! Just don't hurt me!"
-
"We won't! Just tell us where Santa Clause is...."
-
"T-the North Pole!" Cannon facepalms.
-
"*sigh.* I need details elf guy. Where's the North Pole?! And we already know it's north! But we need coordinates!"
-
"I-it's literally the very top of the planet!" Cannon sighs. "Been there. Nothing but snow and ice." "Well duh, moron. You don't know how to get in!"
