"...Real buzzkill, I swear." Irina took another sip of hot coffee, smiling almost immediately after drinking from her glass - she didn't understand why Vorim was acting the way he was, but she didn't mind much at all. "So Vory. Whatcha been up to? Tell me about your boyfriend. Girlfriend. I...I'm never looking at Q the same again...Like, not that I don't already, but...you know what I mean."
-
My name is Vorim. And I love Quincy. He's sweet, caring and a wonderful person. And I swear if you so much as lay a finger on him, I'll kill you.
-
"I'm definitely laying a finger on him just because you said that." Irina literally laughed out loud - as it she found a lot of sick humor in the situation. Why couldn't Vorim just...calm down?
-
*His ears tilt back and he growls at her. He trembles a little with anger.*
-
"Oh, don't get angry. Not like I want anything to do with that...er...whatever you call his kind. I only want to murder the hell out of you, sweetie." Irina snickered, before taking yet another sip of hot chocolate. "Cheer up, though. It's the holiday season, where people are supposed to be happy! What are you doing for Christmas? I plan on decorating me and Athena's apartment a lil', help Marcia with her decorations and her church thing...since Y'know, she's blind."
-
Edited by Skatch142: 12/6/2016 12:22:59 PMAnd why do you want to kill me?
Make up yer mind! Is it coffee or hot chocolate?
-
"Cough cough. Ghiaccio. Cough cough. But what are you even doing for the holidays? Like, seriously."
-
*His ears tilt back and his eyes glow yellow.* If your angry about something that happened before you two even met then how do I know you won't get angry about how we're celebrating one of our Sphirinian holidays? You seem that unreasonable.
-
"The fück? I knew him before that, you little shit. Quit acting like you're so damn special." Irina had gotten genuinely pissed.
-
How am I special? (Wasn't that his intro?)
-
(Nope. They had met before.) "You act like only you and you're damn boyfriend matters above everyone else! And yeah, that's a tad bit ironic coming from a piece of shit like me, but it's the truth. I can already see it; I didn't do jack shit to you, NOTHING JUST YET, yet you have the balls to mock MY friend, to show up here and act like a fücking asshole to me, when all I've done is try to be nice to you! When you nearly murdered my best friend in this hellhole over a cat and some kid! Yes, we both made mistakes, but that doesn't give you any right - ANY AT ALL- to do that to him!" People were staring at Irina, as she had gotten out of her chair in her own apparent fury. She was...mad, to say the least. "...I'll stick with being "nice" and "socializing" with Quincy, or Snow, from now on. Perhaps, the - no, perhaps he - would understand."
-
*He stands up as well, not shouting. He remains calm but from his tone extremely angry.* You are mad that I hurt him right? I'm mad that you hurt Quincy. I do not think I am better than anyone else. In fact, I'm not only acting like this because of what you did to Quincy, but because of how many innocents you have brutally murdered. I vowed to protect this place just like my brother and my cousin. This isn't only about Quincy and I, if you had only harmed Quincy then I would have only brought a single bullet. But I am dressed like this and armed for the safety of the Dojo, it's members, and Dojoville instead of the safety of Quincy. And I may not be being nice to you, but I'm also not screaming about the fact that I'm "being nice" either. Do you see the irony in how you're acting? *He was dead serious, calm but firm. It was clear he didn't want a fight but he wants her to see that she has no room to yell at him about hurting one person, when she's killed hundreds.*
-
"...Did you even listen?" Irina stopped speaking suddenly, her voice low and venomous, as if something was terribly wrong...it was odd. Bearing witness to the massive mood changed pulled by Irina. As for the woman herself, she only glanced at Vorim, only to sigh softly and close her eyes. It may have been an illusion or something, but her face had become as pale as ever - as if she was embarrassed. Irina sat back down, eyes closed and mouth closed as well, before she spoke. "...Why did you come here? To mock me? To threaten me? You clearly don't want to be here at all. You've refused...everything. I-I don't get it. I thought getting you a drink or talking about something Christmas related would fix things - not everything, but still. And yet, I still manage to colossally screw everything up. I already know you wouldn't care, so...leave if you like.."
-
Edited by Skatch142: 12/8/2016 11:53:41 AM*He sits back down.* I did listen. I was calling the screaming ironic... Look, I didn't know why I came here because frankly, I despise you. But I didn't come here because I wanted to mock you or threaten you. This is the first time you've somewhat given me a reason to like you, but that doesn't mean I suddenly will... I won't just start trusting you and being nice to you if you're only nice to Quincy... I need to be sure you've changed... *He sighs.* Sphirinians don't celebrate Christmas... I don't entirely understand what it is... Would you mind explaining it?
-
"W-Well, Christmas is originally a Christian-Pagan holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, one of the much more prominent figures in this book I've heard of, and actually begun to read a little..."The Bible", it's called. Jesus, well...according to the book, he was a good guy. Was eventually crucified, but still a great guy. Anyway, the "true purpose" is to celebrate it that way, although people may have twisted it around to the whole Saint Nicholas thing 'n all. Y'know, Santa Claus and all that." It was as if Irina had completely forgotten about why she disliked Vorim and her screaming; as if she was actually trying to be...nice? It may have seemed funny too, for her of all people to read a religious book.
-
Oh, the Bible? I've heard of that, I don't really understand the religion though... Our own religion is based on a race of strange beings that we believe existed on Sphirinia before us. We are aware that we actually evolved from animals extremely similar to the ones here on Earth, hence our appearance. But we believe that there is a god who after starting what people here would call the Big Bang kind of stepped back and instead created a race to do work for him. They came to our world and caused us to rapidly evolve...
-
"Never been too religious myself, although my blind friend Marcia recommended the book to me. It's a good read, has a lot of lessons in it's pages. Wonder why Marcia would recommend it though? I've never seen her as a Bible person...hmm. I'm checking that out." Irina's mood had quite literally changed...for the better.
-
Im not attacking you or trying trying to be an a$$ when I say this, but maybe it's because of what you've done? My whole family wasn't very religious, but Sketch, Sapphire but I try to... Well Sketch and I try to be the best to people we can be, as long as we feel they deserve it...
-
"Maybe? Marcia's not religious either. Well, she's got her whole Raid thing going on, and...well, she wants to build a church for him, but still." Irina knew that for the past few days, Marcia had been worshipping a deity, one that she called "Raidriar". It creeped Irina out significantly, especially after things that Marcia told her.
-
What? What are you talking about? *He suddenly sounds concerned.*
-
"Marcia's planning on building a church for a god that murdered quadrillions of people? Apparently, she really, REALLY respects him. Writing a Braille book and everything. How does she write, though...I guess she types it?"
-
Irina... This can NOT be good. *His ears tilt back as his tone somehow gets even more serious than it already was.*
-
"What's so bad about it? It's a church. I mean - it would be really bad if she summoned the guy, but still." Irina didn't seem to nervous about the situation at all. It was a church - plus Marcia had said that Raid was loving and kind, and "more than willing to care and love his faithful followers",
-
And what if she does? She shouldn't be building a church for someone like that...
-
"Hey. It's her choice to do so. Maybe he's really nice? Maybe he's willing to protect people? Only one way to find out, y'know? Look, I'm not saying that I support her choices, but I'm not gonna force her to change her ways. And that's that. There have been cults 'n shit around here before anyway; remember that Sithis shit? Tell me he wasn't horrible."
