"Oh. You've killed one of my favorite pets. Shame."
Selene said, not sounding the least bit sorry. Stepping backwards a few feet, she raised her arms and twirled her hands in an arc.
"Riley dear, you should really pass on that bit of advice to your friend Ronin. You know..the one about not leaving bodies lying around?"
Amidst the flames of the wreckage on the deck, bodies began to rise...bodies Jackson had shredded with rifle rounds an hour earlier. The ones that were actually intact, which equalled a half dozen men dragged themselves to their feet, walking through the smoke and towards Riley and Jackson..as if they'd just gotten up from a nap.
While this occurred, Riley stood frozen, eyes on the approaching bodies, pistol having fallen from her hand..clattering on the deck.
Her mouth opened to say something, but nothing came. How..
She stumbled backwards, her hands shaking feverishly.

"I just figured it would be best to ask, Madame Daltry. You would not believe how many soldiers do not like needles." She injected the drug into Riley's shoulder, the arm with the broken fingers. She took her own gauntlet off, and set about working to get the splints ready. It took her a few minutes, and by then, the morphine had kicked in. Riley could no longer feel pain, rather a euphoric high. As Rose came back around, she began to move Riley's fingers back into their proper places, so that they could be set properly. As she realigned each one, she applied the splints and tightly secured them, going about it quickly and effectively. Before Riley released it, her hand had been splinted and wrapped, and now Rose was wrapping the rest of her body with bandages after cleaning the cuts. After handling the easier stuff, she did a quick scan of Riley's body, stopping and speaking to Wolfe. "Several fractured ribs, Monsieur Wolfe. There is not much I can do. She will need rest and time. Her fingers are set, and her cuts have been patched."

"Can we bring some of this stuff back?" Riley said with a grin, putting her hands out to the sides to steady herself on the table. The pain had been excruciating, but now..she was good. "Thanks whatever your name is." She says quietly.

"Rose." Responded the blonde woman, who seemed intrigued by Riley's behavior. "She is not familiar with morphine, no?" she asked. "Nope." Wolfe said through a laugh. His reaction to the drug last time he'd been seriously injured was more of a dazed confusion. He hated the stuff.

The Vertibird landed on an intact section of the carrier's flight deck behind them. Wilson walked out of the Vertibird, the rotors still spinning, the cargo bay open. "SHE OK?" He shouted, walking towards them. "BEAT UP BADLY, LET DOC KNOW WE'RE ON THE WAY WITH A CASUALTY!" "10-4" Wilson headed back to the aircraft,
