The eerie presence of fangs, the avoidance of sunlight, and the regeneration...had Ghiaccio found an object that could potentially turn him into a vampire? It certainly surprised Irina, although she still didn't speak. She was more surprised at the fact that he had discovered the thing in Cainhurst - or somewhere in his travels. Irina would have been incredibly angry if he had found it in the forsaken castle - she had lived in the damn thing for years.
She only stared into its design, confused about how to activate it as well. Irina wasn't one for puzzles. At all.

"I've tried putting on the mask many times and it does nothing. I've been trying for two weeks now and nothing. The best it'd probably be useful for is a blunt weapon." He admitted, which was possibly what he'd do with it later. It was obvious he was placing all his hope on this object. "Though...I did see some sketches of the Mask having these spikes come out of it and stabbing people in the brain. Then they became a vampire and died in the sunlight. So obviously it has something to do with those spikes."

Irina was very tempted to talk now, mostly to ask about the Stone Mask and to mind-blam!- Ghiaccio ridiculously, for her own entertainment. As she peered upon the Mask's ancient surface, and thought of something...she looked at Ghiaccio, beginning to perform sign language. She hoped that he would understand, or it would look pretty weird. Should we go inside and test it?
-
Ghiaccio signed back. "OK." So she got lucky there. He was considering signing to her before, but he figured out she wasn't deaf and thus had no reason to. "Where to?"

Edited by Orn: 12/9/2016 10:51:11 PMIrina only nodded, before responding with a flurry of hand movements afterwards. We could head to me and Athena's apartment. She's not home. Irina was particularly interested about the affair, to...say the least.

Edited by Obi-Emp Kenobi: 12/10/2016 12:52:48 PM"Lead the way. And who is Athena?" Ghiaccio replied, doing a sick ass wheelie to move out of the way. In truth he was slightly worried Irina might try to steal the mask for herself. Which was a reasonable thought, who could resist the temptation of never dying? Ghiaccio didn't, but he didn't think of it as a key to immortality but instead a means to an end.

...My girlfriend. Irina began leading Ghiaccio right to her apartment, where the two could attempt to try out the Stone Mask in private. Irina was genuinely interested in the damn thing; she didn't know what it could actually do, but she wanted to see it. Timeskip! The two were outside of Irina's apartment, as the Vileblood unlocked the door for Ghiaccio. She held it open for him, so that he could enter.
-
He rolled inside, the mask concealed by his bag. He looked around the apartment for a second before turning to face Irina. "Nice place." The cripple remarked, taking the mask out rather carefully.
-
Irina smirked, as she closed the door and headed into the apartment room, which had a Christmas tree within it. None of the lights were UV lights, which was definitely good for Ghiaccio in the future. The two were basically left alone, with each other. Irina began performing more sign language. So what now?
-
"Do you have a knife I can borrow?" He asked, I mean of course he knew she had something like a knife on her. Who doesn't these days?
-
Irina nodded quickly, and opened up a drawer within the home. The drawer held her personal Rakuyo, the sword and dagger broken away from each other. Irina took the knife, and held it tightly, before returning to Ghiaccio. She held it out for him - did he wish to stab her? Irina honestly wouldn't have minded too much - she had left him to die. And so, she sighed as she held out the weapon, as if awaiting the inevitable.
-
He grasped the weapon tightly, as if really considering to shank her ass right there. He held it so tight his knuckles went white. Ghiaccio then let go of it, dropping it in his lap. "I...can't." He muttered quietly, looking down at the blade. Then he grabbed it again, somehow through a sheer incident of stupidity, he cut himself of his hand. "Dammit." He said, letting the blood drip from his palm and onto the Mask....the Mask. It had a reaction to it which caused spikes to violently erupt out for a moment, which then sunk back in.
-
Irina's eyes suddenly widened, as the spikes suddenly revealed themselves - so the key was blood... Ghiaccio. Hand me the knife. Irina herself took the Mask, studying its design and such. She would cut herself, then quickly hand the mask to Ghiaccio. She hoped it would work better than regular blood...since after all, she was a Vileblood.

Edited by Thot Slayer Emps: 12/15/2016 12:41:43 PM"Or, I hold the mask." He said, catching on what he thought Irina was thinking. "It'd be a bit faster that way." Ghiaccio held a hand out for the mask. In truth he was kind of paranoid about the mask as well, what if she was deceiving him for it? No no that couldn't be right....could it?
-
Edited by Orn: 12/17/2016 4:06:56 AMIrina sighed a little, then gave the mask to Ghiaccio. Holding the knife, she sliced open her very hand, as her Vileblood blood (That sounded weird.) dripped through the wound. From the looks of it, the mask only activated when blood was upon it, so... I guess you have to put the mask on first. Then I'll rub the blood onto it.
-
"Fine." He replied, placing the mask on his face. It was surprisingly fitting on him, but nonetheless he wasn't afraid of death. Not like he had anything to live for anyways. He looked at Irina through the mask's eyes, anticipating it.
-
Irina only nodded, as she placed her bloody hand upon the mask's forehead, while she gripped the knife tightly. She hoped that it would work: she respected Ghiaccio quite a lot, especially after the certain events they had gone through.
-
The spikes quickly shot into his head and pierced his skull and brain, activating the vampiric powers within him. He was now 'dead' but 'alive'. Pained screams came from him as the mask did it's work before the spikes exited his brain and skull. It fell off into his lap as he was limp with...no wounds? The once man now turned vampire gave a chuckle as he finally stood up, free from the bonds of his wheelchair!
-
Irina only pocketed the bloodied knife within her coat, a thin, almost jolly smile upon her pale face as she merely clapped for Ghiaccio. She was genuinely happy about the restoration of his body, to say the least - and yeah, she'd be ultra cool with letting him live in her and Athena's apartment.
-
His body changed to suit his new abilities, his nails were now long and sharp, perfect to draining a target of blood. He looked more muscular than his usual thin frame, though he wasn't fuсking Fist of the North Star jacked. Ghiaccio opened his eyes and looked at Irina, his vision was much more clearer than it ever was and thus he didn't need the glasses. He took off the red framed glasses and crushed them like one would do with a piece of paper and tossed them on the wheelchair. He picked out the shards of glass that got stuck in his hand, the wounds healed up rather quickly as well. "This...is....perfect." He said, looking down at the wheelchair.
-
Irina only stared at Ghiaccio's new dorm triumphantly, as she crossed her arms and stood up straight. His new form actually did somewhat intimidate her, especially the fact that he had almost immediately recover from his crippled state. So should we test just how far the regeneration can go? Irina asked this in sign language: she wanted to see how much he could endure.
-
"Yes. However I must note that my head would be a...weak spot should you call it, specifically my brain. If that is destroyed then I cannot regenerate and I will die." He replied, staring at Irina.
-
Irina nodded, before suddenly jolting towards Ghiaccio at blinding speeds- She stopped right in front of him, the blade of the serrated knife shoved right into his solar plexus. By testing him out - she had taken a major risk and stabbed him head-on. She tore the knife out, waiting for the regeneration.
-
Ghiaccio placed a hand over his stomach, specifically the spot he was shanked in. He was breathing heavy with a look of shock on his face, before it turned into a smug smirk. The wound started to close itself again, flesh, muscle and veins reformed itself again, a gruesome sight to most. It was a short minute before he was fully regenerated again, the only evidence being the blood stain on his blouse, which he proceeded to take off.
-
Irina merely watched in her own amazement as the wound healed right in front of her eyes - the sight of his regeneration had truly amazed her, although she would not have sacrificed the ability to walk freely in the sunlight for something of it's caliber. For now - she would keep Ghiaccio safe from any UV lights, within her home and outside of the walls she stood within. So that worked. Should we set up a place for you to live?
-
"Yeah...I obviously can't go outside, though it's not like I wanted skin cancer anyways. So I lose nothing and gain everything." He said, looking around. "...Perhaps it would be okay if I stayed here? I won't even mind anything like a closet, as long I don't get exposed to sunlight I'm good with it."
