"W-Well, Christmas is originally a Christian-Pagan holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, one of the much more prominent figures in this book I've heard of, and actually begun to read a little..."The Bible", it's called. Jesus, well...according to the book, he was a good guy. Was eventually crucified, but still a great guy.
Anyway, the "true purpose" is to celebrate it that way, although people may have twisted it around to the whole Saint Nicholas thing 'n all. Y'know, Santa Claus and all that."
It was as if Irina had completely forgotten about why she disliked Vorim and her screaming; as if she was actually trying to be...nice? It may have seemed funny too, for her of all people to read a religious book.

Oh, the Bible? I've heard of that, I don't really understand the religion though... Our own religion is based on a race of strange beings that we believe existed on Sphirinia before us. We are aware that we actually evolved from animals extremely similar to the ones here on Earth, hence our appearance. But we believe that there is a god who after starting what people here would call the Big Bang kind of stepped back and instead created a race to do work for him. They came to our world and caused us to rapidly evolve...

"Never been too religious myself, although my blind friend Marcia recommended the book to me. It's a good read, has a lot of lessons in it's pages. Wonder why Marcia would recommend it though? I've never seen her as a Bible person...hmm. I'm checking that out." Irina's mood had quite literally changed...for the better.

Im not attacking you or trying trying to be an a$$ when I say this, but maybe it's because of what you've done? My whole family wasn't very religious, but Sketch, Sapphire but I try to... Well Sketch and I try to be the best to people we can be, as long as we feel they deserve it...

"Maybe? Marcia's not religious either. Well, she's got her whole Raid thing going on, and...well, she wants to build a church for him, but still." Irina knew that for the past few days, Marcia had been worshipping a deity, one that she called "Raidriar". It creeped Irina out significantly, especially after things that Marcia told her.

What? What are you talking about? *He suddenly sounds concerned.*
-
"Marcia's planning on building a church for a god that murdered quadrillions of people? Apparently, she really, REALLY respects him. Writing a Braille book and everything. How does she write, though...I guess she types it?"
-
Irina... This can NOT be good. *His ears tilt back as his tone somehow gets even more serious than it already was.*
-
"What's so bad about it? It's a church. I mean - it would be really bad if she summoned the guy, but still." Irina didn't seem to nervous about the situation at all. It was a church - plus Marcia had said that Raid was loving and kind, and "more than willing to care and love his faithful followers",
-
And what if she does? She shouldn't be building a church for someone like that...
-
"Hey. It's her choice to do so. Maybe he's really nice? Maybe he's willing to protect people? Only one way to find out, y'know? Look, I'm not saying that I support her choices, but I'm not gonna force her to change her ways. And that's that. There have been cults 'n shit around here before anyway; remember that Sithis shit? Tell me he wasn't horrible."

Wait, what???
