Edited by Skatch142: 12/9/2016 2:29:31 AM*He takes Quincy's hand, and Quincy's vision goes completely white for a second. Suddenly they're standing in what seems to be some sort of town square. It's nightime and the ground is lit up with warm orange lights on what appears to be black tiling. There are strange looking trees with purple leaves and all around them are bipedal mammals and lizards, but mainly nocturnal ones. Surrounding the large circular clearing in the city are tall black buildings with glowing orange lines all over them in a grid. Between buildings are bright orange beams of light and high in the night sky are strange looking ships landing on and taking off from buildings. Vorim is silent, looking down at Quincy and smiling, waiting for his reaction.*

Quincy's face is lit up with a smile, taking in everything around him. "This is...this is amazing!" he says excitedly.

[u][b]Yeah... Beautiful isn't it?[/b][/u] *He asks, giggling.* [u][b]This is the city I grew up in, Veraphin.[/b][/u]

"Its amazing Vorim..ive never seen anything like it before.." he says, looking around in awe.

[u][b]Yeah... Well when your race is able to learn extremely quickly then that generally leads to a lot of technological advancements... Do you see those beams or light going from building to building?[/b][/u] *He asks, pointing up at one of them.*

He nods. "Yeah, what are they?"

[u][b]Instead of using wires for communication, we use those beams of light. They flash at a frequency we can't perceive and it uses the same basic computer code on earth. 1 is on, 0 is off. It's much easier to build these than wires.[/b][/u]

[u][b]Heh, of course we can! This is the night before I came to Earth so it will be the clearest in my memory. But I remember almost the whole city, at least outside the buildings, that is...[/b][/u]

He giggles. "Where to first?"

"Sure! A park sounds nice."

[u][b]Alright, let's go![/b][/u] *Vorim starts walking down a street, continuing to hold Quincy's hand.*

Quincy giggles, following him, holding his hand tight, but not too tight.

*As they walk, they pass by lots of strange stores. Unidentifiable triangular writing is all over the place.*

He tilts his head at one of the stores. "What are these stores? And what's with the triangles?"

[u][b]That's Sphirinian writing. I would have it all in English for you but I can't read English... We're in a pedestrian mall at the moment. Restaurants, clothing stores and whatnot.[/b][/u]

He nods. "Ive never been in a mall before.. so this is...strange..and cool." he says, smiling.
