"I told you boy! It's a ward! Open your ears!"
The barrier then folded and condensed into a small ball, which hovered over Tywinns hand.
"The ward is a defensive technique. It can be used by using your very life force and expanding it to protect yourself. It requires patience, strength and technique. All things we have been training within you.
But, not only is it defensive, it can also be used as an offensive spell!"
Tywinn let the ball shoot from his hand, and it sped by Rorek, knocking him down from the force of the speed. The ball hit a large oak tree, and as it hit it the tree instantly exploded into it pieces. Bark flew everywhere, and there was nothing left of the tree.

"I mean did anything else strange happen? There has to be something....."
-
Anne knew Zane was digging. She had taken place of Mira in the memory. Deity was Zanes best friend "Jesse." But besides being gutted by the beast along with the rest of his family, she could not remember. "Deity was there as well. So it makes sense why he would take him I guess?" Anne didn't want to say she was in the mind of Mira. It was best that detail was left well out of the way....

"Damn it....There's something We're missing here....."
The eye?
"Were your eyes itchy before as well? Before the storm hit?"
-
He shakes his head, then an idea forms in his head. "Anne, put the necklace on!"
-
"What? Why?!" Falk looks at Zane, and he seems to be having a clue as to what's going on.
-
"Look, just trust me on this alright?" He hands her the necklace.
-
"Oh fine." Anne puts the necklace on her neck.

Edited by XxZANExX13: 12/11/2016 7:43:52 AMSuddenly her vision changes, and Anne sees a location. A black city, overrun by strange monsters. A giant skyscraper stands in the middle, and a giant grey castle floats a ways off behind it. She also can sense the deity somewhere in the castle. Her vision changes again, and it reveals a world ravished by war. Child soldiers fighting each other over supplies. Her vision changes for the last time, and she sees Rorek tired up and beaten, hanging in chains. The beast crosses he vision, then turns, as if it could sense her. Another figure is chained up, beaten and bloody. Long blond hair and a torn hunter outfit adorn her, and something is familiar about her. Then the vision fades, and she's back at the cabin.
-
Anne looks around, and her eyebrows tighten. What do she just see? The future? The past? The present? All three? "Zane....What was that?"
-
"It's as I thought, your exposure to the beast has allowed you to gaze though time! It's why I could never track him, because he's always moving. What did you see?"
-
"I saw.... A city. Of darkness. Creatures roamed it. There was a castle...the deity was inside! Then...a battle. Children were attacking eachother over resources. Then...I saw Rorek. He's been hurt. But...he's with another. She had blond hair...and she was small... She seems so familiar. Then it ended."
-
His eyes widen, and he leans against a wall for support. "Are....Are you sure?"
-
Falk walks closer to Zane. He knew what he was thinking. "Zane...don't jump to conclusions man. You don't want to risk it."
-
"I...I know....It could have been anyone." Mira walks over, and leans next to Zane. Mira: "Did you really see children fighting each other?"
-
Anne: "Yes. I did. Over the simplest things to the most basic of needs."
-
She sighs, motioning for Them to sit down. "I see....Anne, what you saw was our home world, where Zane and I escaped from."
-
"That would make more sense then... What does it mean though? Why would it take me there?"
-
Zane slams his fist against the wall, his anger growing again. "That's where the beast is from....The damn clan sent him here to hunt us!"
-
Falk: "Clan? What clan Zane?"
-
"The Nightingale clan is famous for there child assassins, they kidnap children and brainwash them, forcing them to kill. Our world is ruled by a strict government, only handing out supplies to those they feel are worthy." "Well here's the thing, I wasn't kidnapped, I was born into the family, something that hasn't happened in a while. They trained me as soon as I could walk, and by the age of 4 I had my first kill.....A year later and I received a...Different contract. I was to infiltrate and assassinate the governors daughter. Guess who it turned out to be?"
-
Anne: "Mira...."
-
She nods, resting her head on Zane's shoulder and stays silent, letting Zane talk. "I snuck into the house at night, killed over a dozen guards. They were just an obstacle, wrong place wrong time. I entered the room where she was staying and became paralyzed. She was sitting in the corner, crying, beaten and blood stuck to her silver hair. It was then that I felt actually emotion, and I just wanted to save her. So that's what I did, I took her from that place and we ran. We ran and didn't stop running, never staying in the same place for more then a day. One night while I was keeping watch a portal opened, sucking us both in. Guess where we ended up?"
-
Falk: "Well, if I'm just gunna take a shot on the dark here I'd say you ended up on Tatakai."
-
"Yup, we woke up to grass under us, so we knew we were some place else. We later found a city to live in and stayed there until I was in my teens. I was already undergoing military training and got called to war." He places his prosthetic on Mira's stomach. "I had to leave my wife and unborn child.... Not once but twice."
