Commerce and cars created a white noise in the background of the city's marketplace in the poorer district of Padras, as the Frontiersman stood in the dead centre of the entire place, his ten foot tall suit of armour and blackened duster keeping him as the focal point to the curiosity that many of the beggars and low-class citizens had.
JT was visiting the city in the country of Cylak because he was bored of the Dojo's rolling hills and whining citizens, and wanted to return to a place where even the robotic police droids were programmed to not -blam!- with the common man. The majority wad full of junkies and wannabe gangsters, but they wouldn't deter JT. He grew up here, he knew Cylak.

"Simulation, none of this shit's real man."
Boredom I guess.
A curious expression crosses the man's face, a look as though equally nostalgic and hungry at the same time. The fire in his eyes seemingly grew brighter. "Since none of this is real, and whatever happens here is an insignificant matter, would you like to fight, Cowboy? No holds barred, all out combat, to the virtual death."

Keri had gone to the sim room to load her own sim, when she saw that part of it was already in use. She peeked inside, and marveled at it all. She knew who'd set this up. It was Cylak, she's been a few times, she only knew two other people that'd been, and only knew one with the actual sim. JT. She sent him a message on his Tac-Pad. I take you're the one who loaded this place up? I'm in the sim right now.
-
Yeah, I figured taking a trip home would be good for me. You want to drop in?
-
Sure. Where are you right now? I'll start heading that way.

Marketplace
-
Alright. She walked down to the marketplace, and looked for him.
-
He was pretty goddamn easy to spot, since he was the 10ft tall dude in armour with enough guns to make republicans shit themselves.
-
She ran up to him, stopping mere inches from him. Most people would probably look insane for doing so, but she knew him. She had her usual attire on, with one added article of clothing. A cowboy hat. She just decided to fully copy JT at this point. "Hello!"
-
"Keri if we weren't friends and in Neo Texas, I'd probably shank you for taking my style," JT said with a chuckle accompanying his words. He did change up his duster and hat a little bit, and he still did have his prosthesis and the Chozodia Station jumpsuit, so she was thankfully not copying him to the fullest extent.
-
Keri chuckled too. She was glad that JT's sense of humor had stayed intact. Or maybe it hadn't, and he'd just gone crazy. Who knew? "Nice to see you too, JT."
-
"How you been lately?"
-
"Pretty good. Met a few more people. How about you?"
-
"-blam!-in' horrible lately."
-
"Really? What's wrong?"
-
"I get literally 0 customers, I have a total of maybe 2 friends, and on top of all that shit, I have had 0 luck with even getting a woman. Came close, failed."
-
"Oh. That sucks, man. Just remember, I'm here for you. If you ever need somebody to talk to, just tell me, alright?"
-
"Yeah, talking doesn't help though. Last time, I just went on a three year camping trip and came back happy."
-
"I'll assume you didn't have some epiphany on life or anything, but in any case, talking to a friend can help, JT. Just... If you ever need anything, tell me."
-
"Yeah." "Anyways, you wanna grab anything to eat in this shithole city?"
-
"Heh. Sure. Skipped lunch today, so I'm pretty hungry. Have anywhere in mind?"
-
"I know a nice little Mexican place nearby. You in?"
-
"Oh yeah. Haven't had Mexican in forever. Probably since we were back in Cedyetica."
-
"Really? That long?" JT asked as he started walking down the street.
-
She followed him, looking at the crowds around them. "Yep. Around twenty years at this point, right? I don't remember, cryo messed with me a bit."
