She became nervous, noticing that it was literally the only part of her Egyptian clothes that was still on. She quickly took it off and it suddenly disappeared into her backpack. "...umm...t-thank you?" She said, her slight feeling of fear creeping into her voice.

"What is wrong? Never seen a Mechonus before?" [b]Fortis said, backing away as not to startle her.[/b]

In an attempt to not reveal her real identity, one that had a good chance of failing, she said this little sentence. "Oh, of course, I just was not expecting anyone to come so quickly..." Her voice still held nervousness, as she could not feel Ausar trying to help her, which sucked for her. Perhaps it was a test?

"Hey, at least it wasn't Audax. He would probably demand that you empty your backpack to make sure there are no bombs in it. And Destanius would probably try and convince you to do one of his insane experiments."

"Oh...that doesn't sound nice..." She began to feel even more unsure about this place and its people. So far, they seemed quite strange and slightly frightening, at least to Preida.

"Yeah, there are a few odd people around here. They are all safe, though. Inside the walls of the dojo is one of the safest places you can be."

"Oh, cool. I guess I don't really need to be nervous anymore." Preida said, lying just a little. She was still a little scared, she'd just gotten better at hiding it.

"So, why are you in the dojo?"

"Oh I uhh...umm..." She had no idea what to say, really. No help was coming from Ausar, still. "I'm just...here. I'm not really sure...."

Preida sighed, she might as well tell him, seeing as he would find out anyway. "I don't know what to expect...everything is so new."

"That is how I felt at first as well. Don't worry, you get used to it."

"Yeah..." She might never, she's spent her whole life in ancient Egypt and never even knew a place like this existed.

"So how is Egypt? I have never been there before, but it seems quite interesting."

"Times now...or before, are not so good. War has struck." She said sadly, and worried. Worried for her friends and family

"If you need any help back in Egypt, I would be glad to lend a hand."

"I don't even know how to get back! I was thrown here by Ausar!" She said, realizing her real situation and freaking out a little too much.

"Oh, well I have a pretty fast ship that, if I make some adjustments, might be able to break the time barrier."
