She finally stood up from beside him, and turned to the stairs just as Watcher, or Miles, had come down, wearing jeans and a long-sleeve t-shirt, sleeves rolled up. A look of surprise crossed his face, as he noticed that James was still there. Outside of his armor, Watcher was thin, and just about as tall as Rose. His brown hair was wavy, and moderately long, covering his ears, but still far from being shoulder-length. He was fairly tan, his eyes brown, always alert. In his hand, an empty water bottle. Unable to move, he simply stood at the bottom of the staircase.

I've got the perfect analogy, you're like Iron Man. He's a super hero but he only has a suit. James laughed. He looked around at the messy place. If he had a room, it would be like this.
-
"Heard that one before." He said with a sigh. "At least I don't need an arc reactor in my chest." He cracked a weak smile.
-
"True, true. Also, you're not a rich old guy either. At least, not that I know of." James attempted to say seriously, but halfway through he gave up and laughed.

"Well, I mean, last time I checked I wasn't, unless that's changed between now and then." He said, smirking.

"Doesn't appear to have." James appeared to have been distracted
Sorry for the hiatus... my bad.

All good fam
Watcher took the slight pause in the conversation as a chance to do something. He wheeled himself back over to his desk, where he wrote something down quickly on a sticky note, before he picked up a small device, and wheeled over to his armor set.
-
"What's that" James asked, intrigued
-
"Working on some calibrations, easy little stuff." He said, sliding the device into his gauntlet.
-
"Yeah, 'easy'" James joked. He looked around the room and began to walk a bit but was careful not to touch anything.
-
"It's like tuning a car... just a little more computer stuff." He said. "I really don't care if you touch anything. Nothing here's all that hard to fix."
-
"Yep, because I can do that as well" James joked. "I don't really care if it's easily fixed, I'd feel super guilty if i broke anything, even on accident." He added
-
Watcher merely shrugged. He was fairly easy-going as a person. Despite his trust issues, he seemed to be fairly ok with James being around him, at least at this point.
-
James kept looking around the place. "It's a nice place, cool suits. I should get a place, honestly."
-
"I don't think Rose would mind if you crashed here. There's an extra bedroom up here, actually. She's a sucker for kids, dude... well, reasonably. Considering you have nowhere to stay, she'd probably let you hang here." He said, shrugging.
-
"That'd... Yeah, that'd be great." James blushed
