The guard seems a bit taken aback that he speaks Mando'a, but nods.
"Cannon? He should be at the command tent with the chief. I can comm him if you'd like. What's your name?"
English
-
"Charlie White, but he'll know me as just Charlie."
-
The guard nods, putting a hand to his helmet comms. Seconds later he lowers it. "You're cleared to enter. He's in the big tent on the far side of camp."
-
"Thank you, sir." He bows before heading to the tent.
-
As he walks, he passes a line of Mandalorians in full armor minus the helmet. They're all chanting a song in Mando'a, pounding the beat out on their armor. " Dha Werda Verda a'den tratu, Mand'alore kandosii adu. Duum motir ca'tra nau tracinya. Gra'tua cuun hett su dralshy'a! "Gra'tua cuun hett su dralshy'a...." He silently mumbles to himself as he reaches the dent.
-
Cannon is standing over a map, he and Shames are the only two in the group of Mandalorians with anything to distinguish their armor, both having tassels of braided fur hanging off their chest plates. Cannon's is blue while Shames' is red, and niether have helmets. Cannon glances up and sees Charlie. "Su cuy, vod. What brings you by?" He asks.
-
Charlie smiles at first, but soon breaks into a laugh. "I wanted to thank you for all you've done!...and figure out what's the reason behind having this army here."
-
Cannon looks to Shames, who nods. "It's nothing. You guys are my friends, I'd do it again in a heartbeat." He leads Charlie back outside the tent away from the crowd of Mandos so they can chat more privately.
-
Charlie follows. "So, what's happening? I have to know because even now Iso's safety is my top priority."
-
A brief flash of pain crosses his face at the mention of Iso, disappearing instantly. "We got a call from home. Mand'alore Shysa is calling for the Supercommandos to deploy against the Empire. We're answering the call." He gestures around to the varies troops and vehicles being loaded into transporst.
-
Charlie notices it and starts to look worried. "Are things between you and Iso okay? Forget the call, Cannon. What happened?"
-
He sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I'm honestly not sure. Things seemed fine... And tgen the next thing I know she screams and runs off crying. Is she alright?" He asks worriedly.
-
Charlie goes into deep thought for a second. "She should be over joyed if anything. I don't know what could cause her to do that. What did she scream?"
-
Cannon repeats the entire conversation to him.
-
Charlie thinks for a second before replying. "I'll talk to her about it. Don't worry, I can tell you did nothing wrong."
-
Cannon looks mildly relieved. "I'm still worried about her. I haven't seen her since it happened. Which reminds me, how are you? Last time I saw you were unconscious."
-
Charlie smiles wide and laughs. "Great actually! I've got my memories and my emotions all back! Tis' a wonderful feeling!"
-
Cannon beams. "That's great news vod!"
-
"I need to sort through them more, but I'm staying positive! If I remember correctly, Iso and I were rather close."
-
Cannon smiles at him. "I figured that much out whil I was in her head." He sighs. "I hope I can talk to her before we deploy."
-
"She's around here looking for you too. I don't know where she got to."
-
Cannon nods. "Well, I would know if she asked about me. I wonder where she is then. Can you pinpoint her location?"
-
Charlie chuckles nervously and rubs his neck. "I'm having a hard time with my powers and tech at the moment. I accidentally kinda sorta maybe blew up a mountain earlier...." He sighs. "I don't think she's coming, Cannon."
-
Cannon frowns. "Oh... Ouch. Um... Could you maybe deliver a message to her for me the next time you see her?"
-
Charlie nods. "Of course, vod! What is it?"
