Charlie thinks for a second before replying.
"I'll talk to her about it. Don't worry, I can tell you did nothing wrong."

Cannon looks mildly relieved. "I'm still worried about her. I haven't seen her since it happened. Which reminds me, how are you? Last time I saw you were unconscious."
-
Charlie smiles wide and laughs. "Great actually! I've got my memories and my emotions all back! Tis' a wonderful feeling!"
-
Cannon beams. "That's great news vod!"
-
"I need to sort through them more, but I'm staying positive! If I remember correctly, Iso and I were rather close."
-
Cannon smiles at him. "I figured that much out whil I was in her head." He sighs. "I hope I can talk to her before we deploy."
-
"She's around here looking for you too. I don't know where she got to."
-
Cannon nods. "Well, I would know if she asked about me. I wonder where she is then. Can you pinpoint her location?"
-
Charlie chuckles nervously and rubs his neck. "I'm having a hard time with my powers and tech at the moment. I accidentally kinda sorta maybe blew up a mountain earlier...." He sighs. "I don't think she's coming, Cannon."
-
Cannon frowns. "Oh... Ouch. Um... Could you maybe deliver a message to her for me the next time you see her?"
-
Charlie nods. "Of course, vod! What is it?"
-
Cannon fumbles with one of his pouches and pulls out a small envelope. "Here, it's... Just a few things I'd have liked to tell her before being shipped off."
-
Charlie puts it in a pocket of his. "Sure thing, Cannon. I hope you get back safely."
-
He nods. "All honesty, I'm tired. I'm tired of warfare. I'm tired of killing. And I'm tired of not having anywhere to settle down." He says, running a hand through his crew cut hair.
-
Charlie pats Cannon on the back. "I feel the same way. We all do."
-
Cannon nods. "It's just... It's all I've ever known. It's what I was made for, bread for. If I can't continue with it, then what am I?"
-
Charlie stares down at the ground and gets quiet. "I don't know....What are we?"
-
For a moment Cannon's usual mask slips, revealing the scared kid he allways tries to hide. "At least you know you've lived outside of war." He whispers.
-
"I was always in war actually. My father was a general before he owned WM Corp. I was raised to fight and did when I was of age. Iso knows me as a writer and poet because I was part of a special forces division that had to be kept secret. Sure, Iso and Charlotte had a normal childhood, but Chuck and I are in the same boat as you."
-
Cannon pats his shoulder. "At least we aren't alone?"
-
Charlie smiles up at Cannon. "True. We should focus on the positive."
-
Cannon opts for a smile. "Agreed." Suddenly a Mando jogs up to them. "Sir, te alor just cleared us for take off. You're needed at your post with the raider division."
-
Charlie sighs. "That's your que to leave. I hope you come back safe, Cannon."
-
"Hey, if I can survive you guys, I can survive a bunch of idiots in plastice armor. Besides, this time I've got something to come back to. I'll see you in about a week vod."
-
Charlie bows before he starts to walk off and wave goodbye. "I'll see you then, vod."
-
The last he sees of Cannon is the Mandalorian climbing aboard a combat transport. He pulls on his helmet, merging seamlessly with the faceless mass of warriors around him as it lifts into the air towards the dreadnaught.
