[u]You scratch our back.........[/u]
In orbit above the dojo, twin Ares-class cruisers jumped into existance, their exteriors emblazoned with a chess' rook. Their sides were armed to the teeth, plasma and hardlight and weapons galore. In the belly of the beast were ten thousand souls armed with the best in the galaxy, regimented and professional, ready for a fight.
However, a fight was not why they came. and why they came was apparent when they hailed the planet, keeping a respectful distance. Most of the men on board had heard the stories, and judging from the distance from the planet they kept, so had their leaders.
They continued to Hail the planet
"This is the BSC Dead of Night and the BSC Maus, requesting permission to land a diplomatic party on board the main NTR vessel and on the surface of the planet to open relations"
The Bastion had arrived.

[b]Ian and Garin stood outside of their home, shaking their heads.[/b] This is the third fleet in a week. Unbelievable. [i]Outrageous, I tell ya.[/i] What are we gonna do? [i]Get help, I presume.[/i] Probably.

[b]A professional voice replied over the comms speaking with authority [/b] "This is Omega. Second in command of dojo army and the second in command to the fleet up there." [b]Several Dojo cruisers had begun towards them[/b] "You have permission for a small party to establish diplomatic relations on planet. The NTR however is a different story."

"Copy, dispatching." Twin Mako-class dropships and five Andromedia-class fighters descend from the pair of warships, and fly towards the planet "Requesting Co-ordinates for landing the team, over"

"Coordinates being sent to you now." [b]The coordinates lead the ships to the Dojo hangar[/b]

The fighters hold a pattern above the hangar, and the transports drop down into the hangars, it could be seen that each had a side gunner, the gun being an 8-barreled plasma chaingun 44 soldiers in all disembarked, wearing armor made from advanced materials, and holding weapons that glowed blue and purple with plasma. 4 commanders then disembarked, their armor being lighter, but they had shimmering energy fields around them that indicated personal shielding, and they formed a block with the commanders at the front

[b]There were hundreds of ships and men around, each clad in some sort of differ armor. Clonetroopers, NCR Rangers, Dojo guards, Mandalorians, anything one could think of. They didn't seem bothered by the men arrived, except for a single man that approached them. [/b] "Hello and welcome to the Dojo. I am Omega, the man that you spoke with over the comms."

A commander with a red stripe over his breast plate stepped out "Thank you. I am 1st. Lt. Galloway, we are here on behalf of the Bastion as per our mutual military contract with the NTR"

"No need to be so technically! You're here on business, that's the important part!" [b]He laughed slightly [/b] "So what exactly are you here for?"

"Simply to set up a garrison on the ground, and in orbit"

"Is there any particular reason? Just to establish a presence?"

"we're bound to assist in military matters, and with more factions showing up, we would also like to establish our presence"

"Where do you come from? Certainly not NTR. UNSC? No that's not right..."

"We are the Bastion, and we hail from a planet know as the Hollow. We have control of a few star systems, so you probably would not have heard of us......unless you read the papers a while back"

"Hmm. Might be good. Here are the dojo's terms. You share any discoveries with is immediately. Impending attack, people scouting us. Whatever it maybe. You must also provide at least one armor set that you would normally give to your soldiers. These will in turn be studied, modified and duplicated." [b]He cleared his throat [/b] "You will, for no reason at all attack the dojo or any of our Allies. Is that alright with you?"

"Unfortunately, the armor sets are made from materials we alone can furnish, so such study would be pretty useless. We understand all other terms, and will adhere to them, save if such attack comes from said allies or dojo." he said, and you had to admit, you'd never even seen this type of quality before

"Well, if you don't mind it, we'd still like to study it. See how powerful it is what it can withstand." "Now, you will not be attacked while here everyone is friendly. Do you have any terms?"

"Our terms are that our goods be able to be sold to the fighters of the Dojo, that we may enlist members if said member wishes, and that our weapons and armor go unstudied." He said dryly

"Hmm. You really like your gear eh? Alright we won't be studying you. And we agree to your terms." [b]he extends a hand [/b] "Seems we are Allies? Or simply mutual. Either way."

Galloway shook the hand "we will be posting a base not too far away in not too long." he turned without another word "Starns, Ackerson, take your half and head to the dropsite. Lamar? on me." The other three salute American style "Yes sir!" one half gets into their own transport and heads towards the site, the other half heads back into orbit, three fighters covering the site, two covering the transport

Quincy could be heard over the coms. "Uhm...i dont mean to sound ignorant but...who?"

"We were clear in our designation, and we are awaiting a reply" A professional voice was heard "If you are able, please alert whoever may be in charge"

"Im not able to clear you a landing spot at the Dojo but if you need there's a refueling station currently in orbit you can stop at if you don't want to waste gas.

"We are fine, and will hold orbit until cleared to land a party"

"Im offering because two ships in far orbit looks kind of suspicious. We're currently dealing with a...situation..down here I don't want any accidental trouble stirring up. If you dock, itll look better. Besides, i got all this hot chocolate over here and i can't drink all of it. Did i mention the station has a cafe?"
