The Glade, 11:32 AM
As cold winds flew throughout the air, snow falling throughout the white skies of Tatakai that morning, the arrival of winter and warfare was present within the Dojo. While the attackers of the establishment and the defenders of the place of fighting prepared for their final hour, one woman in particular did not do so.
Instead, she waited alone, in the glade.
Upon her knees, the five foot three inch tall girl placed her hand upon a rock - a grave, from the looks of it, decorated only with a deep blue flower. Dark blue robes were wrapped around the girl, sealing her body away from the cold, their lining and fabric gleaming brightly in the daylight. The dark leather boots that she wore were laced tightly and weathered, although they were still in a fine condition, much like the gloves that she bore. Upon her chest was a small badge - the insignia of the Arrowhead. The hood of her robe was not pulled up, revealing a head of short brunette hair, a twirl of hair upon the right side of her face. As for her facial features in general - her face was angular and sharp, her skin a smooth olive color, while her eyes - the pupils and irises were clouded by a deep blue color, something not natural at all: it appeared to render her completely blind.
But even with in effect, Adeline Rosegold - previously Marcia, although she wished to be called Adeline - simply kneeled next to the grave of one of her sisters, Emily. A singular tear dripped from the girl's eye, before she muttered a singular thing, almost like a prayer of some kind.
"...Merry Christmas, Em."
That was all that she said, as she began a silent prayer.
